We had between us cod n chips, fish pie and venison burger. All were well cooked and presented. Yes, they tasted nice as well. Staff friendly and helpful. Upstairs dining room comfortable, light and we'll equipped. A very nice meal and experience.

Best pub in Southwold by a million miles. If your eating there make sure you have a long walk beforehand as the portions are massive. FANTASTIC food, beer, staff and proper pub with huge character. Cannot praise it high enough.

We come to Southwold most years and the Harbour Inn just gets better with age. The most authentic and unspolit pub in the area with the best food and friendliest staff. Came for drinks a couple of times during our week here and two meals; great fresh fish and choices for veggies. Last night we even had entertainment in the form of a sea shanty band. Can't wait to return again next year.

We have visited before and this place is a must for all visitors to the Harbour. Food & service are excellent and its cosy to sit in the bar area and admire the character of the pun in a friendly atmosphere. Will be visiting again next time in Southwold.

The Harbour Inn is a great historic pub, prone to tidal floods, on the quayside at Southwold. They have a Traditional music night on the second Thursday of the month which is widely supported by mostly Suffolk based people. There is singing-mostly chorus-step dancing and mainly melodion based music. It's wonderful. The food ain't bad either. And the Adnams bitter, virtually brewed on its' doorstep, is wonderful..As you'd expect!

Smoked haddock fish & chips, minted or mushy peas... amazing, never had it anywhere else - it is absolutely delicious, available with curry sauce if you ask for it. So popular they'd run out, the haddock & chips is still delicious. My son had Rarebit as a starter, extremely tasty.

Best feeling pub in the area. Perfect to drive to for one or two 0.5%s or mid-walk as it's in a lovely location in the harbour. Ran out of cod but the smoked haddock was lovely.

Food was lovely and it's an Adnams pub so the beer is obviously good. Very busy on this bank holiday weekend so it was very busy and therefore quite a long wait for service. Staff friendly and helpful though.

Great pub located a short walk from Soutwold. Beers very well kept and served, with good selection of Adnams ales. Of course, it goes without saying food prices have gone up, but the quality is still top notch too, so retrospectively, it was OK by us to spend what we did for the food we had. Beautiful location with fine ales and the chance to walk off fish and chips with a walk along the coastal path, would do it every day if possible.

Great food and beer was really well kept. Went in with the family, and all six of us had a meal. Food was served very quickly, and all was of good quality, no complaints at all. The only downside was the number of dogs allowed in the place not great when you're sitting eating with dogs everywhere.

The weather had cooled from sone of the hottest days in August. We needed a good lunch following a terrific walk in not too far away Dunwich Forest. It was bar service. Good range of food. I went for the basil pesto fungi linguine.... generous potion and tasty. Also nice was Coke Zero on tap. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub at Southwold Harbour. Sat on the downstairs longe bar and had a very good lunch. Has outdoor space at the front and back with both having great views. A very dog friendly pub too!

Was served by Abbie, she was very friendly and went above and beyond. The food was outstanding and very filling. Definitely would recommend to anyone for a full meal or just a few pints.

Excellent fish and chips. They are not organised for gluten free. So we had to have gammon, eggs and chips instead. They could easily have the batter and do it in the same fryer and check that it is ok with the customer. The minted mushy peas are very special and a must.
