Our first visit here. Once you have negotiated the steps down to the basement location, you enter a welcoming well lit space. The BLT was excellent, the ploughman's substantial and the tea an excellent strong brew (other options available). Helpful staff. A real haven from the weather on hot days. We will return.

When I first came to the South, Costa was my home. Now I can say the great Buckenham Coffee House is my castle! I was met with a lovely waitress that greated me and made me at ease. There's a very wide range of different coffees which sprung to my delight. As it's located in an underground basement It maintained and original experience. I would definitely recommend visiting. Coffee is sublime 10/10 Five stars

Favourite place in Southwold to grab a bite to eat. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere, and the decorating is done perfectly. A little hard to spot (as it is underground) but that just adds to the experience!! The art gallery is just above it, so that provides a great place to browse before/after eating your food.
