Kipling's Restaurant Sowerby Bridge

This is our favourite Indian restaurant in Sowerby Bridge! (And its BYO) The food is really really good and consistently spot on. Great flavours and a great range of curries. The starter selection is really good, with my favourite and recommendation being the lamb chops! For us we want to be able to give our kids the same experience but "child friendly". The creamy masala was perfect for our 11 year old. Our younger child isn't quite there with curries yet, so she had pizza! But great choices for the kids. You can bring your own beer and wine, but there is a bar with a decent enough selection of drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend Kiplings. Great for all occasions and I've never been disappointed leaving the restaurant with the food and service!!

Second time here, we were kept waiting for 40 minutes for our table, we had booked well in advance. Apparently the party before had turned up late, instead of turning them away they decided to let them sit and eat, making us late. Otherwise the staff were very good and the service once we sat down was great, they did also remove our drinks from the bill as a good will gesture, which was appreciated. The food was superb and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Would I recommend it, absolutely, the food is great.

1st time here, it family leaving do to move abroad. 😢 Absolutely fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere and brilliant friendly staff. Travelled from Littleborough. But will definitely be back. Id definitely say it's the best curry I've had. And made it perfectly as requested aswell. 10/10 no hesitation 👌

I've gone here for years and when not been able to go & that ' I could really eat a curry' feeling hits this is my first choice every time. I'm not suggesting that others locally aren't just as good as there's some really excellent places but this is quite local for me, the ambience in the restaurant is great, the food delicious and the staff and service are all top notch. What more is there to say ?? Fir me curry = Kiplings so a complete no brainer to me just like fish goes with chips 🍟

ordered a delivery not expecting much as i felt let down last time I ate in.. must say definitely was much better. delivery driver was a very pleasant polite young man delivery with a smile and very friendly..( Thank you Zac). I got onion bhajis which was very nice and 2 Currys which was really big portions.. so big me and hubby shared and froze half of each. great value for money. i will definitely order again. only let down was the the online menu as not enough information on product.
