We have visited the Alma Inn numerous times since we moved to West Yorkshire. It has a great vibe, great service and above all... Great food. Very dog friendly, which is a massive plus in my book. Pay a visit, you definitely won't be disappointed. 👍🏼👍🏼

My wife and I stayed two nights and cannot complain about anything. The staff were all professional and friendly. The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meals we had.Pricing was competitive . The location for us was great ..set in the hills . The rooms were a little small but nice so thanks to everyone at the alma inn

Visited Alma Inn for just a dinner and the service from the staff was lovely and attentive. Sadly, the food was really average and too salty, so a bit disappointing. The presentation of the food was beautiful but just let down on the taste. But hopefully it was just the chefs having an off day. The restaurant also looks really beautiful and has a great view looking out.

Group of seven with 3 children aged 3 to 7, staff were excellent, food was great and we all really enjoyed it. Thanks again for looking after us and the rabble of children ! Hope we didn't ruin it for other customers!! Haha

The only reason the service didn't get 5 stars was for small things missing that I thought in this day and age are offered in almost all B&Bs such as Brown bread choice at Breakfast ,Along with jam and marmalade, perhaps honey...and to run out of orange juice isn't a good thing and then tell your customer on a Wed that you won't have any until the next Wed.. I mean somebody should go to the shop if that's the case, which in all fairness they did or must of done as the next morning you had some. And only a 4 for the room as some attention to detail on things like some areas of the cleaning .But otherwise it was a smashing location and the food was great ..wasn't the cheapest nor the dearest , but the dark haired waitress was brilliant and a very good people person .out of your control..butboyfor somewhere that's rather rural and slightly off the beaten track it gets alot of noisy passing traffic

Great place to stay to visit the local area. 4 of us had 2 rooms, one twin and one double both of which were comfortable and clean rooms. Bathroom was great although very hot (like a sauna) and also the rooms were rather warm which would be our only complaint. The room could have also done with a chair in to sit rather than on the bed. Price was great and the breakfast served was excellent and had great choice from cereals to a cooked full English. The restaurant for our evening meal was also really nice food and very friendly and welcoming service, all staff accommodated any needs we had. The food was tasty and we had no complaints. Would definitely stay again if visiting the local area. Probably not very disability access friendly being that most rooms were up flights of stairs and also the hotel being at the top of a hill in the middle of nowhere.

Absolute gem of a place I've been wanting to go for ages and finally managed to go and lucky enough the weather was amazing. The food is beautiful and very large portions. Staff were pleasant and happy. Will certainly recommend

Picturesque location in the hills above Sowerby Bridge. 5 rooms, ours was clean and comfortable enough for what we were looking for. Decent size menu with good, tasty food. Local and international beers. Large car park. Great service, friendly and helpful staff.

Recommended to us by friends and it did not disappoint. Quiet setting, slightly off the beaten track, but busy with locals and tourists alike! Food was lovely and no large portions hiding inadequate quality here. Beautiful ingredients cooked well If we are ever up that way, you’ll be our first call
