I thought this place was magnificent Bar staff brilliant, engaging and knowledgeable Ambience, although it was bang on opening time (noon) there were only half a dozen punters at the time, it was still vibrant and “cool”. We dint eat (eating is cheating) but I’m sure the food would have been bang on The ales, again brilliant on every level, £10:20 for three different cask ales, so well within budget. And The Boss on the stereo, topped off a perfect first drink of the day.

Very expensive pints but very yummy can be very busy but upstairs is brilliant for larger groups. I would not suggest coming here if you are easily attracted to men with big muscles and long black hair, he’s taken ladies and gentlemen!

Great place to unwind after a hard shift and as a bonus, they sell Lilley's cider on draft too The pies (from le gourmet in Brighouse) are excellent and the warm pork crackling is a fantastic accompanying bar snack to many of the beers.
