Absolutely outstanding!! As boring as this might sound I usually judge an Italian restaurant by its Lasagna and I have to say THIS Lasagna was first class! Plenty of meaty layers and the sauce was just like “Mamma” intended!! The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive but never over baring. A credit to the management. I’d also like to credit the chef for embracing a full Vegan menu. My partner who IS vegan loved the fact she was catered for feeling included in the dining experience !! Bravo Chef!!!! First time here but definitely NOT my last!

Wonderful service and a great atmosphere.
Food was good but not great. Lasagna was all pasta and not much meat. Chicken meal was nice.
Wine selection was good.
Menu should be bigger as not many choices.
But still a lovely place to eat.

Hands down the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Service is always so friendly, atmosphere is really warm and food is impeccable. Really good value for money considering how high the standard of food is. Can tell everything is cooked fresh and is made from quality ingredients. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a date night or special occasion restaurant. Looking forward to going back already

I was pleasantly surprised to find a separate vegan menu with a huge section of vegan used dishes. I had the broccoli gnocchi, it was huge and baked to perfection. Even a little bowl of vegan Parmesan on the side ! The chocolate and cherry slice for desert came with both vegan ice cream and custard. I wasn’t drinking this evening, but the cocktails looked amazing coming out. The young waiter was so polite and focused. I was welcomed by a lovely lady. Wish I lived closer to this place !

Came here as a group of 5 (2 adults and 3 fussy eater kids) for a 14th birthday 🎂.
Really good tasty food. Very friendly service, great to talk to the chef as well.
We will definitely be coming back here again.

One of the best restaurants we have been to. The vegan menu has lots of options and the ones we chose were delicious! We 100% recommend the lasagne!
Service was fast and the staff were so accomodating. Portions were huge too (especially the lasagne). We will definitely be back!

Just been here, and had a delicious meal. I’m here for work, so went in on my own just after six. Not too busy.
Service was very good, I was made to feel very welcome. I can easily recommend the Pasta e Polpette al Forno (meatballs and pasta in a cheesy tomato sauce). Amazing.
Being greedy, I had the Torta di Limone for dessert, followed by an Americano.
By the time I had finished, just after seven, the restaurant was full, so I’d definitely suggest that you book.
I can happily recommend Amici Restaurant. Very pleasant staff (the manager/owner was very happy to let me speak the little bit of Italian I know), the restaurant is well set out, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food I had. I hope my pictures do it justice.

Wow, it's simply one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, no rush with the food.
The food itself was absolutely amazing & lovely that the chef came out & spoke to the diners!
Shame that although they knew it was my birthday, I didn't even get a free drink... but I won't hold it against them 😉

Fantastic dining experience at Amici Spalding, the main courses were splendid! The only reason I didn't give 5 🌟 was due to the tiramisu being a little soggy for my liking. Fantastic service and great evening. Thank you
