Grabbed dinner from here whilst I was working away from home today, and I'll definitely return. Fantastic freshly made hot food despite coming in nearer closing time, and really generous portions. I can see why their chips came highly recommend by clients I had visited, and the fish cake was huge and really well made! Interior looks very clean and well presented and the 2 staff members were friendly and gave some cutlery to take as well :) intrigued by the battered oreo on the menu, maybe I'll try that next!

Really good food. I drive past 3 or 4 different fish and chip shops on the way to get to Oh My Cod, but it’s always worth it. Really appreciated it today especially as I didn’t realise but I turned up as they were closing up and they still cooked up 2 portions of fish and chips for me and the Mrs. Thankyou again

A fantastic, family-run and award winning fish and chip shop. Items cooked fresh to order. Staff are very polite and presentable. The shop is immaculately clean. They have a five star food hygiene rating and have won national awards for being the best fish and chip shop. Reasonably priced too. As is quite understandable they often get very busy with customers but they deal with everyone efficiently and politely. They also have a mobile fish and chip trailer if you want to hire them for an event. It would make an interesting wedding reception meal. I would highly recommend this establishment and I will certainly be returning.

Finally we found a chip shop that cooks in vegetable fat. Don't like my fish to taste like the bottom of the roasting tin on a Sunday! Nice chips fantastic fish, busy but very quick to serve.

Giving 5 stars due to quality of food, location (easy to park outside in evenings) and the owner is a very nice chap! Can only comment on fish and chips as don't buy kebabs e.t.c. there. Fish always cooked fresh, never had an issue. Food cooked in vegetable oil, so chips and fried veggie stuff is fine for vegetarians. Portion sizes plenty adequate - I normally order regular cod and chips - fills me up and I'm a big lad!
Only negative is that there is a very small waiting area - nice when quiet (or you don't mind waiting outside) but it could be an issue if you are claustrophobic, especially if it gets busy.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. They will cook what you want from kids portions to battered orio which are really nice (taste like a donut). The staff are friendly and the shop is very clean. And I love the curry sauce.and it's very popular 👍👍👍

Great fish and chips. Small, medium and large cod. Other fish also available. Lunch special £3.25 for small fish, chips and side order also all day Wednesday same deal for 'senior citizens', but of course sold to everyone. All food cooked to order. Short wait but very efficient.
