Beijing Palace

It was good food. The price of the buffet was fair for an all you can eat. My order mistaken a few times where by it didn't arrive or they heard your name wrong if it was being put on your tab for the drinks. That was common as it seemed to be the case every time with almost anyone who ordered so wasn't just me. It would make things more efficient if they just gave you a unique number to hold up rather than have to say your name, which is where it was missheard, for your personal tab. Less mistakes made that way I would feel. I would recommended, especially if a big group of you go so there's more to share around at the same time. There were a lot of instructions on the front of the menu if you've never been before so that can be made simpler. I ended up just asking someone who's been before on what to do as I was not going to read a whole A5 page just to know how it's expected to work. Staff were really friendly. I'd go back but watch how much I'd drink as that alone doubled my bill and the drinks menu could have been more on hand as had to ask for one which quickly disappeared with in the group I was with.

Re Takeaway only From phoning to collecting was 20 minutes, the food was fresh and packed really well so still nice and hot when we got home, re portions, sizes compared to others was on the small size, in our S&S chicken there was only 2 bits of meat and not a lot of sauce and for £4.50 we got just under half a bowl of crispy seaweed... However it was melt in the mouth delicious which to me taste is the main thing over size so a great meal...
