Great food, atmosphere and service. We came to the Peak District and tried this place out on the way. With it being a Mediterranean style name, it attracts a large Latin community that is incredibly welcoming, bubbly and friendly. The food itself was great quality and we tried to infamous Derbyshire Oat Cakes which taste super delicious and healthy!

Great location it looks like a pub but it’s a farm shop 👍 you can buy beer in a bottle and cakes it’s a mix of a deli shop a farm shop an off licence. And a local gift shop And a cafe. If you are passing you have to stop in. Plenty car park space. Don’t drive past and not pop in you are missing a treat.
Lovely staff, friendly very welcoming … great place , very clean … the breakfast was very tasty and good value for money. Lots of locally produced food in the farm shop.
We will definitely be visiting again and recommend to family and friends thanks
Brilliant place for a coffee or lunch! Good home-cooked food, and attentive service, especially outside the busiest times. Easy parking next to the cafe, and shop sells wonderful cakes! (amongst other things...) Need to check opening hours though, we've been in the area, expecting the Olive Tree to be open, but found it closed.
Wow!!!
Ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to my Auntie's home for her 70th birthday.
The Olive tree was recommended to me via the local F/B group as I live in Chester.
My Auntie was made up with it she said all of it was absolutely delicious.👌
I couldn't believe the amount of food there was & so varied. Unbelievable value for money.
Thank you so very much..
Wonderful place to stop! Second time I've been to the peaks and stopped here because staff are lovely, food is great quality and homemade. Accommodating washed up my baby's bowl and gave a sausage to the dog! Salt of the earth folk! Thank you!
Having called in on spec in the week we then booked a table for Sunday lunch.
Great Value , the food was really nice and worth waiting for and staff were very pleasant.
Will be calling in again at some point .
Ordered breakfast hampers and a lunch for our function, really great food everything was nicely presented with lots of choice, our guests were really happy with the food. Many thanks
This is a really lovely cafe and farm shop. My sister and I always stop off here on our way to and from our holidays in North Wales. The atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is very tasty. We will keep on coming back!
What a wonderful find! We were on our way to the Peaks and fancied a coffee. Although on a hairpin bit of the roundabout, did a slightly illegal manaeoure and drove into the ample carpark.
Lovely rustic old pub converted to a farm shop and cafe with plenty to offer.
We ordered coffee and small breakfast which consisted of bacon, sausage, egg, black pudding, hash brown and a local oat cake.
The coffee came, but was too weak for my taste, with no aggrievation , this was rectified as soon as I mentioned it. The extra shot made all the difference and it was thick and very tasty.
The breakfast, of great proportions arrived exactly as asked for. Again, polished off as all the products were so tasty.
Having paid the bill, we noticed the great wedges of cake and settled for two pieces of bakewell tart to take away.
I ate my tart the next day and can highly recommend it as I can the whole experience.
Do pop in. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed.
