Perfect in every way! The service was absolutely lovely; all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. And the food! Wow... Absolutely stunning! I'd go as far to say that it was one of the best meals I have had! As a cheapskate, I was hesitant to pay £35 for a steak but it was genuinely worth every penny! As first timers, we were in adoration and will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff!

My wife and I visited here one Friday evening this last month. I believe it was a stroke of luck to get a walk in table at this exquisite establishment. Overall we had a great time. The bar staff were impeccable with the highest quality of drinks made by a dashing young man and a very knowledgeable young lady who took the time to explain the menu to us and craft us a special cocktail of our own based on my wife and I’s tasting preferences. The bar staff here deserve the highest of praise and acknowledgement. The serving staff were good too, promptly bringing food to our table and seeing to our every need. A very minor point I just must mention. The wine knowledge of our servers wasn’t the best. Luckily the young man behind the bar was able to answer our questions we had about the origins of the wine and the tasting notes to accompany. We had had the most delicious Sauvignon Fruili. The final thing to mention was the, what seemed to be a rather misplaced addition of a singer. It was around 8pm when the singer started their act. At first is was an assault to the ear drums, very loud and unnecessary, in fact, it seemed the restaurant soon cleared of custom when the act started. By all means the act was superb, but it just didn’t seem quite right for the classy atmosphere and environment there at Cavellos. We will most certainly will return, perhaps on a different evening though as we were made aware that Friday evenings are music evening. Regards, Zachary and Shelia R

We have just had one of the best meals we have had in a long time. My girlfriend and I both had the Filleto Stroganof. She had boiled rice with hers and I had the best chunky chip EVER! Sides were the garlic mushrooms and the peas with pancetta and garlic. We both had a couple of pints of Heineken lager with the bill coming in around £60 which is excellent value for a meal and ambiance of this quality. The waiting staff are fabulous and very attentive too. Do yourselves a favour and book asap. Thankyou Carvellos, 10/10...take bow. 👏
