A Hidden Gem!!
One of the best roast dinners I have had in a long time! Great variety of food, drink & deserts. Staff & chef were really welcoming and made room for us last minute for a lovely roast dinner (the roast was as good as it looks in the photos) the hospitality was extremely good. Highly recommend.
What a lovely, cosy, welcoming and friendly place this is. We visited for an evening meal whilst in the area for a long weekend. The menu is varied with plenty of choice. The food was excellent and we were amazed at what great value it was too. We ate in the bar as a family of 4 with a dog and could not have been more welcomed. I can imagine it to be even cosier on a winter's night when the log burner is lit. There's plenty of parking too. Overall we had a great meal in a lovely pub with lovely people .
My husband and I take his Grandad out every two weeks and try a new restaurant/pub each time . We have covered many places in Lincolnshire and this was by far one of the best . This weekend we tried the Wheel inn and loved it . The staff were so helpful, food was great and the lady who took our order i this the landlady was so nice and nothing was too much trouble for her . I highly recommend
Evening meal with friends, lovely dining room, Sue was very attentive and Nicks food was amazing 👏

Great little friendly pub. The locals make you feel welcome and dogs can enter too.
There is a little cottage that the owners also own and let out.
This is a little gem here.

Very pleasant village pub and appears to be a bit of a community hub. We only had a couple of drinks, but the owners and the few others there seemed friendly and open. We had a meal there once before when passing on the home and it was good too. Their fish and chips was excellent.
Had a lovely meal here. We were staying at Misty Meadows (Duncan the owner recommended it) its in walking distance, so a perfect 5 min stroll. Food was on limited days and times so had to pre book table and menu choice. Friendly Locals. Dog friendly too.
We called in on Monday evening only to find they don't do food on Monday evening. So pleased we decided to return last night.
Steak night but they had run out of steak so we had gammon cooked to perfection with egg, pineapple, onion rings a lovely mixed salad and home made chips, and topped off with a choice of sweet. All for £10.
Obviously the watering hole for the locals who were a very friendly bunch and made us very welcome.
Just a mile from Gunby roundabout and well worth a visit. (more than one)
