Food was decent but the inflexible menu leaves the score at 4 stars. It's unusual for a fish and chip shop to not allow ordering individual items, rather we had to order and cod and chips for ~£11.
I’m going to have to say that these were some of the best fish and chips I’ve had… got to be in my top 2 anyway. Our fish was split into two equal portions so they were both cooked to perfection. The batter was crispy and tasty, and I’d go as far to say it’s the best battered fish I’ve had since I was a kid and had a local chip shop that I always used as a benchmark, and that was more than 25 years ago! I didn’t expect to be impressed so I was slightly taken aback. How could I not leave a review? Ultra clean shop, friendly welcome and good curry sauce. Thanks! Jim
Excellent. Had the Cod and chips. Really fresh fish, not greasy, perfectly cooked chips.
Been walking the coast path for the day and called in as we heard it had a new owner. We weren’t disappointed. The batter was light, crispy and not at all greasy . The chips were real chips and the mushy peas tasted so fresh. We will be back !
Excellent service and great size fish for the small Cod and chips. Picture doesn't do it justice cause Iv part eaten fish and some of the chips.
Expensive for small portion sizes. Chips were well done. Been here a few times over the years.
Really excellent fish and chips. We have been back to Fission time and time again over the past four or five years. Fish is always cooked fresh and with just a thin crispy coating of batter. Chips are thick cut and tasty. Better be quick for the scampi! Would definitely recommend.
The best fish & chips, which I had in UK. Excellent customer service, people were very polite and friendly. Fish and chips were excellent prepared and cooked, all was fresh and tasted delicious. The portion was really big, what really surprised me, after reading some reviews regarding small portions.
The price for fish and chips was £8.50, which I think it is reasonable and definitely worth the money.

There are quiet few people working over there and from my short observation, it looks like there is a friendly atmosphere, where people put their hearts to prepare meals for visitors.
The only disadvantage is a lack of parking space, but not only for Fish & Chips shop,
but as well for many local businesses around.
Shame for St. Agnes council, they should crete some more temporary parking spaces, which will attract more visitors to go there and help local businesses.
Very good fish and chips! We took it to Chapel Porth nearby. Delicious.
Currently a limited menu but really delicious. We had cod and chips, chicken bites (nuggets) and chips plus a curry sauce. All amazing. Beautifully battered cod, very fresh. Curry sauce was also top notch. Get in early!
Lovely fish, chips were a little uninspired. Wait was fine and there's good spots to park your car for a few minutes while you wait for your food. Not much else in the immediate area.
Fantastic fish and chips. Very busy place so expect a wait as it is all freshly made. One of the best Haddock and Chips I've had in a long time. Kids Cod and chips are fairly large. Could be shared for 2 little ones..... Highly recommend this place....
You know you've found a great place when you have to join a long queue to order but it was well worth the wait. The fish and chips here were the best we've had in a long time. We took our food to park at the coast where we enjoyed a great view to go with our great British grub.
Very very good fish and chips. They do a small cod and chips which was enough for me for £7.50. Can order by text.
Very efficient system. Ordered in the morning by text and collected at 645pm, on time and piping hot. Fish was superb. Lovely crunch to the batter too, and chips salt and vinegared to perfection. Extremely satisfying! Thank you.
Excellent fish & chips! Under current conditions the ordering process is well organised. All cooked fresh, crispy batter on the fish and tasty chips. Not oily or soggy. Brilliant!
