Came here for lunch - delicious food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Would happily come back. Highly recommend the chicken waffle and the freshly pressed juices!

This is the best burger in St Albans and frankly my favourite burger.
I am a burger snob, it's so rare for me to find a burger that genuinely ticks every box.
I give the burgers here a 10/10.
Toasted sesame seed bun, bacon, cheese, gherkins, 2 thin patties, burger sauce and raw onion. It is my perfect burger.
My friend who had the chicken could not sing any higher praises.
Share the hash brown bites, they are like tater tots. Fries are excellent. Side of chicken strips is also recommended.
Burger night Fridays and Saturdays.
We also have the regular menu from time to time and for breakfast/lunch the everyday menu is also excellent.
Cocktails are also really good.
We go at least once a month. With such great service there is no reason not to try this place.

The food was excellent, everyone in our group enjoyed their breakfast and one person ordered a danish as well which they commented was very tasty.
Definitely need to book in advance if you are going for the breakfast as it was full.
The only comment was it was a bit loud due to the small size and amount of people but this didn't hamper our enjoyment of a lovely breakfast.
The staff were all friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend visiting!

Small place serving breakfast and brunch everyday and they have burger nights on Fridays and Saturdays. Excellent coffee, great orange juice and eggs are done perfectly. Nice burgers. Loved their salt and pepper chips. They have vegan and vegetarian options.

Hatch in St. Albans is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food at Hatch is simply delicious - we ordered a Full English and the Buffalo Benedict with a side of loaded has browns and they were banging. The attention to detail and presentation is top-notch, and the portion sizes are generous. Hatch is definitely a must-visit for food lovers in St. Albans. Highly recommended!

Such a cute venue, customer service is so friendly and kind and the food is lush! Word on the street that the Hash brown bites are a must have and they didn’t disappoint, best hash browns Ive ever had! The sweetcorn fritters are unreal

Have to give full compliments to this cafe, everything was superb & couldn't fault anything 👏🏼
Expectations were met and exceeded as I was a bit hesitant about the price at first, however once the food arrived it tasted amazing 👍🏼
Customer service was spot on, made to feel very welcomed.. only advice would be to book a table in advance for larger bookings as people were getting turned away because of reservations.

Incredible food & drinks, and impeccable service! The food came out super quick & staff were very attentive. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more - it was totally faultless. Best burgers in St Albans!! P.S the truffle, garlic & parmesan loaded hash brown bites are a must!!!
