My friends from Essex came to visit me. Took them to The Alban. They have never tasted anything like it - best ever. Friendly and considerate great place to have a great meal. Jackie, Hatfield.

Found this beautiful little Indian restaurant via Google search on a day trip from Croydon, stopped off with my wife for dinner and from start to finish it was so lovely.
Walking in we was shown to a table straight away, the owners and staff where so polite and attentive.
The Food was extremely flavoursome and portions where just right for the price.
Highly recommend a visit to this Indian! We will definitely return even if it is a 2 hour drive away!

Ate here with 3 old school friends on a Saturday night, service was friendly and efficient, the food was perfectly cooked and imaginative (as in not your regular Indian offerings of Korma, Bhuna, etc), great value too. It was a pity the place was so quiet as it deserves to be busy. Go, you will not be disappointed.

This is the best tandoori in st Alban's. Fresh food amazing atmosphere too. don't go anywhere else also don't get confused with st Alban's tandoori in st peters st miles apart in food quality. Properly recommended ps miss eden dad 😂
I had the slow cooked lamb shank and it’s the best lamb I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!
The best Indian Restaurant in St Albans. Extremely consistent, very well run and the staff all have a commitment and a passion for cooking and service.
Eating in or takeaway (it delivers as well) we've always found it just great. I've some ten years of local experience now too and have tried all the competitors.
Definitely recommended, it's run by a lovely family and is extremely good value too. Damn, I am getting hungry just thinking about it now.

Delicious Indian with exquisite cooking. You can taste all the individual flavours and its not swimming in fat as its so often the case with less refined restaurants. The service was wonderful too, very attentive and friendly. A real find! Will definitely come again.
