Upmarket Bangladeshi restaurant at the north end of St Albans City Centre. Formally a pub (‘The Cricketers’), then tastefully refurbished. Been going here since it first opened - maybe 15 years ago?
Family run and can accommodate huge parties. Extensive menu with food of a very high quality but very reasonably priced.
Always a friendly welcome and excellent service!

Lovely place near the top of town, has a very good comfortable feel to it and the staff are very nice. The food is good too and they have a nice selection of authentic dishes to choose from. Parking can be a little tricky.

Great meal. We had a big group and I find a lot of restaurants struggle with large groups, however these guys did well to cater for us. The services was pretty quick but there room for improvement. Saying that the food, atmosphere and building was great.

Saturday night, table for two, quick service and tasty food. They have good and bad days, but well worth trying the chunni babu, named after a famous movie (however it is spelt!).
