This is a qwerky and unique place to come for a nice home cake or scones, with cyclist photos, literature and clothes to different races and memories, with beautiful low beans and lovely cakes, we all had different cakes, orange and lemon cream cake, earl grey and blackcurrant and a Victoria sponge. Something nice see if your travel between Hemel Hempstead to St Albans or Harpenden or Junction 9 of the M1. Over as every cyclist does using the nicky line.
Would love this to open earlier for cyclists. Otherwise a great stop to take a well needed break. Good coffee. Friendly service
Open on Bank Holiday Monday! I visited with a gentleman in a wheelchair and we managed to get a wheelchair inside, just. Mind the step. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and catching up with some locals from the village. Great little place, we will be coming back again soon!
What a lovely little coffee shop, we did a pit stop during a 33 mile cycle ride to refuel and had a strong Americano and the most delicious lemon drizzle cake. Seating available outdoors, friendly staff and quirky cycling themed decor, definitely a thumbs up from me and most definitely will be stopping here again to refuel :-)
Great atmo, place with the character. Good stop on a bike ride if in the area
Nice well located Café. Popular with weekend cyclists. Loads of parking for bikes. Friendly service.
Great little independent coffee place! The best homemade cakes and really good coffee!
The Hub is the essential pit stop when cycling around or through Hertfordshire. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed an excellent coffee and shared a slice of locally homemade cake. The cake was also first rate, moist, tasty and fresh. There are numerous items of interest to any cyclist as well as photos and other mementos. The service was very friendly and helpful. Though on four wheels and not two (or three) this cafe is definitely tuned to the needs of cyclists.
Nice place for a coffee but not in big groups as quite small
