We started off with the calamari which was well cooked but a bit on the salty side for me, but husband liked the saltiness. We got the sirloin medium rare 30 day aged which was very good and the beef dripping sauce was amazing! Highly recommend, it was out of this world. Also enjoyed the passion fruit cooler mocktail. We’ll be back!
4 stars because our mains could have come a bit quicker and our plates also could have been cleared faster. It was a busy Friday night, it felt like they could have done with more staff.
Went to Miller & Carter Wheathampstead, for Father's Day meal. Great atmosphere, it was very busy, so pleasantly surprised how quickly the food came out. Lovely cocktails, good food. Definitely recommend the ribs & the espresso Martini.
We visited Sunday afternoon, had the butchers block sharer meal. It was out of this world. Served by the adorable keenly.
Atmosphere great , sat by the river , we saw fish and ducks passing by.
Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon
The food was very nice and staff waitress was polite, easy going and humble with a sense of humour to ease the stress of her workload. The place can be very busy in the evenings and if you sit near the bar area you’re see the staff stressing and running like headless chickens. We also saw the chef and kitchen staff helping bar staff make drinks!
Great service and food, was seen to very quickly and not long waits in-between starters and mains, food was amazing!! Will definitely return and bring new people to experience the place.
Staff very kindly gave us a corner table as my friend is deaf in one ear which was very helpful.
We both had a steak with all the trimmings and wine which was delicious. Staff were great,good service without being intrusive.

What a beautiful place. So much character and charm. Staff are very professional, helpful, constantly smiling and engaging with their customers. Food is absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection. Defo recommend for anyone looking for a perfectly cooked stake.
Our waiter for the night was Keely, she enhanced our dining experience by making sure everything we had wether it was drinks or food was to a standard that we enjoyed. All attendees were happy she was at our service. The food was as good as expected like always. We will be returning again soon.
Really enjoyed date night with the Mrs, the prices are fair for the quality of food, camembert for starter was very filling, we shared this and it nearly filled us up, Millers Dirty Burger for main (it's huge), what a work of tongue tingling art, then sticky toffee pudding for dessert, I asked if it came with only one scoop of ice cream, the waitress said "yes" I asked if I could have an extra scoop which I was charged an extra 50p for. I just wish restaurants would get the dessert to ice cream ratio right. All in all it was a lovely restaurant with good food and a friendly atmosphere, I will be visiting again.
Me and the family had a lovely time. Good food as always, along with lovely service. Our waitress Gill was amazing, friendly, attentive to the table and funny. She had great knowledge of the menu and was able to recommend some very enjoyable dishes. Will be returning again soon!
