Me and my friend saw this place and straight away we knew this was going to be good.... But the staff and owner definitely exceeded our expectations.. They knew their brand and gave good recommendations. Very helpful and polite, they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Great brownies, they don't seem all that for the value, but one bite and that's all it took! You must try their brownies..well worth it! Great coffee, the latte was perfect! They have a good selection of pickles, chutneys, jams and honey! Great for families, kids and pets! Guys keep up the good work! We will be back for more brownies!

My friend and I wanted to try a new cafe and on our Sunday morning walk we came across this cafe. It's a lovely place, right next to the Clock tower, clean and nicely decorated. We decided to enjoy our latte outside, in the gentle rays of the sun. The best decision, the view and the street vibe, completed the atmosphere. I also ordered a coffee and a raspberry brownie. At first, it may have seemed very small, but after the first bite, I realized that it was enough. It has a special consistency and sweet concentration. To my taste, I would have liked it to be a little fluffier. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

This was a spontaneous visit on a day out in St Albans, and when we arrived this nicely situated shop which offered a place to sit, warm brownies and ice cream and a range of drinks was something we got caught up in. On arriving it was busy but were served by the lovely staff members, orders were taken and we felt looked after even when things were not right, they were picked up and resolved. For a small shop to put so much focus on the customer this was great. The food was good and the drinks were amazing too. Overall definitely down as a top place in St Albans for us to visit again.

Situated by the historic Clocktower we found the cosy and extremely welcoming Love Brownie.  A visually colourful cafe with a wonderfully inviting environment to sit and watch the world go by. Being keen coffee drinkers, we’re always wanting to support local independent venues and have to say that Love Brownie now tops our list.  Beautifully crafted lattes and friendly service - we added handmade salt caramel and chocolate orange brownies to our order which did not disappoint. The cheeky brownie samples at the counter are a bonus! We’ve been back several times and the consistency of the overall experience has been exemplarily. A real hidden gem within St. Albans - What’s not to love? Love Brownie.

I popped in to get something sweet for a treat. I can say I wasn’t disappointed. The vegan morello cherry brownie was delicious. I also purchased the vegan honeycomb brownie pieces….. so good. Definitely returning

I wasn’t sure that St Albans needed yet another food outlet but, from what I’ve tasted at their branch in Angel, their products are of a really high quality. Vegan ranges and gluten free too, so they should have every sweet-toothed person covered. And with this prime location, adjacent to the Clock Tower with both Market Place and French Row entrances, they should do well!

Cosy little cafe which has a wide choice of brownies, sandwiches and hot drinks. Love having my lunch here with a freshly made salmon sandwich. There are also colouring books for the kids to get them busy (very thoughtful).

Our absolute favourite cafe in St Albans. Immaculately clean, lovely staff, amazing food and delicious coffee - they’re so welcoming to my 3 year old and it’s become our favourite place. She asks to go every time we’re in town! Really love it here, thanks to the staff for always brightening up our day :)

This place is all about the brownies and cakes/tiffin. Those are absolutely epic and definitely are among the nicest I've tasted. However their coffee is also among the nicest coffee I've had. I thoroughly recommend their £5 coffee & brownie deal. I doubt you'll find anywhere that'll be much better, and given the choice of this place and the chain coffee stores nearby, it's got to be Love Brownies every time!

What is superb about this little coffee shop is the service. Staff are really friendly and take true pleasure in what they do. Excellent coffee. Lovely ambience. Would be even better if they had more warm lunch choices. Amazing brownies and vegab friendly ones too - at first thought £3 was expensive for a small slice but it was really worth it.
