The Hub On Verulam

Thank you so much to Emily, Hannah, Karolina and the whole of the team at The Hub for helping to make our wedding reception so perfect. The venue has everything you want - a beautiful courtyard, a cool, relaxed vibe inside with plenty of seating and room for a dance floor! The space manages to be spacious yet intimate at the same time. All the staff went above and beyond during the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself to make sure everything ran so smoothly. We are so so happy we chose to have our reception here, The Hub will always be a special place to us now.

We only had drinks outside, our waiter Ged was an absolute diamond, so attentive, very personable and made us feel very well looked after. Drinks outside in the autumn sun, the setting is a vibe but having a friendly face who checks in and ensures you have everything you need made the experience for us. Would definitely recommend to sit and drink your afternoon away in the outdoor seating. Will definitely try the food next time.

St Albans is so lucky to have this wonderful venue The Hub. Everything about this place is just amazing. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday party here in the outside yard, such a stunning setting. Emily also kindly gave us the cinema room to screen a special video. James, Antonio & the team were so attentive & kind, we thoroughly enjoyed their presence during our celebrations. The only downside was that the party had to end…… Thank you all so much. Our number 1 venue in Hertfordshire xx

We want to thank you all for helping make our wedding day so special. The venue looked magical, the sound and film screening were fantastic and the meal was delicious from start to finish. (There really were a huge number of compliments about the food!!) Staff were so friendly and helpful to all guests and this was mentioned a lot too. We just had a really great time, felt comfortable and looked after. It all ran smoothly and it meant we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Although it was put together in a short space of time, it all worked out brilliantly. We are so glad we chose The Hub over other venues that were also available. So a massive thank you to everyone there because we know there were many people involved in making it the success it was. We are hugely grateful.

We held our summer client party at The Hub and had our best party yet! Hannah and Alex's team are wonderful, attentive and provide top class service. Emily, the events organiser, was completely brilliant and Karolina and the floor team were incredible. The food was also perfection. We are members of the Hub and I would have no qualms in recommending it for lunch, dinner, parties and more.

This ‘space’ at The Hub is quite inspirational. It is ideal for get togethers from business networking to having access to exclusive screenings of films and sports. Tonight, though, we focussed on the food for our Anniversary dinner. Line caught fish from Cornwall and a unique pork shoulder and Stilton pie. And then the dessert! The best apple and strawberry crumble with vanilla ice cream. The service was excellent from a guy called Ollie. He was very knowledgeable and kind and really made our night. With nibbles and cocktails, mains x 2, that amazing dessert and a cheeky glass of Pinot it came in under £90. (Plus gratuity). A lot of ‘bang for your buck’. Enjoy. Modern British restaurant tucked away on High street in St Albans. Great food, super vegetarian choice, nice relaxing atmosphere, excellent service, friendly staff. We had the halloumi and peach skewers, and flat bread with dips for starters and sea bass, linguine and beet burger for mains. All great. Their tomato ketchup is excellent! Bit on the expensive side. Parking may be an issue. Well worth a visit.
