Had lunch here whilst visiting my daughter at St Andrews. It’s a beautiful little restaurant. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. I highly recommend the ox cheek stew and the sticky toffee pudding.

First time at Forgans and have to say very impressed. Great service, good food and lots of atmosphere. Prices somewhere between pub and hotel but quality definitely there.

Had my Sunday dinner. Staff were lovely and attentive. Nice spacious rustic restaurant with an impressive entrance.
Roast beef dinner with roast carrots and parsnip. Roast potatoes and yorkie. Minimum veg but would definitely go again. Delicious liqueur coffee to finish xx

Be sure and make a reservation, as this popular spot is always busy. And rightly so! Beautiful spot for a fine meal. Very good service from start to finish. I recommend the pork chop. Brilliantly displayed and equally tasty. Thanks for great experience.

Really loved it, the food was amazing. We had the mousse and the duck, and it was delicious. The service is impeccable. The place is also nicely decorated. 👌

Went here for lunch to try some classic Scottish dishes. There was a bit of wait for the server to find us a table. Ordered the haggis myself as an appetizer which could have been a main itself since the serving was very generous. For the main, had the ox Cheek Stew which was gorgeous. However I had to deduct a point for the smoked haddock(?) soup as there were no fish meat present and the pork chop was a bit dry.

Recommended by a Scottish friend and did not disappoint! Had the full experience with a haggis, cranachan and of course a ceilidh - the band were excellent and demonstrated everything perfectly for newbies like me. Our waiter Faith was lovely, too!

The food is stunning, carefully crafted, good portion sizing for feeling satisfied and very tasty. Although It took forever to come (35 minutes), very nice waitress who was kind and caring, answered my questions and took a lot of effort so we tipped. I like the seats, they are very comfortable, but very close together so don’t get much privacy from other tables. The bathroom smelled like bleach and they have a strong smell of old people, they are secluded bathroom which makes up for it.
