Lovely shop and great selection if a tad on the expensive side. Only criticism is size of the ‘sliver’ they cut from the block for you to taste test. It was more like a shaving and so minuscule it was hard to lift it from the end of the knife it was offered on. A bit mean I thought given I spent £18 on 2 cheeses. Even the supermarkets are more generous with their samples. Bad show Mellis!

I am Chinese and I’m not familiar with cheese. Have tried Dutch Edam before and really liked it. So I visited the shop and the staffs are super friendly! They allowed me to try different cheese. I got the Inverness Gouda cheese, it tastes so good. Got biscuits texture in the end🤔 also smooth and melt in my mouth. will definitely come back for more yum yum!

Top quality cheese. Entertainment for your taste buds. Staff are amazing. Get to know the world of cheese, crackers, artisan bread, olives, pickles and handmade butter. It's ace.

If you need cheese in your life then this is the place you need to visit! Great selection, they even have my favourite Comte cheese from France. Try the bread as well, we had a sourdough loaf and a cheese, avo and leek white bread - both very good.
