A decent chippy where a large fish is actually a large fish hanging out of the box.
Good portion size for normal fish and the chips are also a decent portion. Tasted good and fresh.

Always use White River chippy but little bit disappointed with the chips which I bought at about 5.20 tonight, they were very dry and a little tough inside as though they weren't fried long enough, sorry to have moan as we're normally very satisfied with everything.

This Fish and Chip shop is the best in the St Austell area, the portions are very ample for the cost, and cooked to perfection, the fish is thick white chunky Cod, the batter is crisp and again cooked to perfection, I would not go anywhere else for our Friday/Saturday treat, brilliant just brilliant 😋

This fish bar is very high quality. Their chips are salty and delicious, the fish is very well cooked and crispy, and the sausages are divine. The staff are very friendly and always ask if you want salt or vinegar or both. I 100% recommend this fish shop as there are no flaws whatsoever.

I was experiencing some considerable pain and discomfort walking when I visited and I sat on the low wall outside whilst I waited and the staff kindly thoughtful brought my order out to me.

Really good chip shop. Food portion size was good, not too much but just enough. Fish was cooked really well. Staff were really friendly. Shop is clean. Food was well packaged and kept very warm, was still hot when we got home. Park at the rear of the shop if you visit after 17:30, but not before that time or you will get a ticket!
