What more can you ask for sitting in the sun on the terrace at The Bishops overlooking St David's cathedral. Very friendly and attentive team with a varied menu including vegetarian and vegan options; even a vegetarian bangers and mash!! I've eaten fish 'n chips in many places in the UK and abroad; I must say, The Bishops fish 'n chips is right up there with the best. Would highly recommend The Bishops if you're spending some time in St Davids and looking for a lunch or dinner stop.

First time in a long time that I have had the chance to visit this pub.
Great beer, great service (at a late hour), atmosphere a bit subdued but it was an hour or so before closing time on a wet Thursday night.
The lamb kofta burgers were delicious and cooked perfectly.
We had special requirements which were dealt with perfectly.
Looking forward to our next visit

Really enjoyed our lunch in this pub in St David's. Service was brilliant and quick. Prices keen. Food was delicious. Quite the most delicious fish pie I have ever had. Good portions. Comfortable seating. Came with family members who eat here regularly and will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Lovely staff, they stayed calm during a very busy time while I was here. The food was top notch, their ham being delicious. Dog friendly which gets brownie points from me! 100% recommend

We stumbled across this place on our 1st night, we needed some food to take away and it was getting late.
The Bishops was absolutely perfect. Delicious food, very dog friendly and wonderful friendly service.
We loved it so much we went back to eat in another night.

We were in St. Davids for a week, and we ate here twice. The first time we had basic food that was good, I had a Moroccan style burger, and my wife had a Greek style salad.
The second time we ate there was a perfect dining experience as we decided to eat mid afternoon and ordered Crab salad with olive bread. The pub had just had a fresh delivery of Crab from Solva, and I can quite honestly say it was the best crab salad we have ever had in Britain.
We sat outside in the lovely garden with its olive trees and a variety of plants and were blessed by the sun.
Take it from me. It was sublime. The service was very good and professional each time we went in the place and we did go in every day.
The only minor and it is minor downside to the pub is that when you enter all the tables say reserved on them and there is a very cramped area by the bar where people que to ask for tables or just to order a drink. This causes a bottleneck and confusion around the bar area.
This is a minor issue, and I don't know how it can be solved, but then again, on all our visits, we never failed to get a seat.
We loved this pub and all that went with it, so let's hope it continues to provide great memories and continues to prosper.

We ate at The Bishops a couple of times while we we're staying in St Davids. The food was tasty and the portions generous. Despite it being very busy the food came out quickly with no detriment to the quality. The crab salad was very good and my husband particularly liked the lasagne. There are more pricey places to eat in the city but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff made us go back. Thanks to all for looking after us.
