We had a lovely meal and it was a beautiful evening so we sat watching the tide come in with a bottle of wine.perfect location and the food was excellent.

The meal was excellent, plenty of it and great chips, but don't go there for 'pub grub' or pub prices. Service was very good, really attentive. The decor was beautiful a vast improvement on when I went there years ago. I would mention that the lighting in the carpark needs attention especially in these dark nights

Didn’t stay in the room. Only dined; had a great experience, stunning views, and restaurant wasn’t busy but getting more filled up when we left- but catered for all my sons allergies really well. Food was good, no complaints. Service was really good, staff member (don’t know his name but assume the manager - Scouse lad) was friendly, polite, honest and welcoming. Have a little play area for kids as well, so my little ones were happy.

Booked for a birthday but was a bit worried as the reviews had gone downhill and the place was left with a poor food hygiene rating. The new team are trying hard to regain customers trust and Simone was especially attentive to our table. Keep up the good work!

Had an evening meal here. The hotel has been recently been refurbished and is still on going. The food was excellent as was the level of decoration. Close to an excellent sandy beach. The service was exemplary.

Only stopped for drinks in the beer garden, but lovely view, lovely play area with a boat with history and a story. Service was great and would recommend. Wish had time to eat there.

Visited here with friends for a meal in the restaurant, but did not see or stay in a room. Chose this place for the excellent view over the Teifi estuary as the sun set. This hotel is unrecognisable from what it was say 5 years ago. Had massive revamp, providing new accomodation, more dining space and excellent views. Last ate this restaurant maybe about a year ago, offering has improved, now able to order 750ml bottles of wine, rather than only 250ml. Food menu slightly unambitious, but something for everyone. All food tasted good and nicely presented. After dinner coffees slow to arrive, but otherwise good service. We all had a good evening and my guests loved the location, within easy walk from Poppit Beach.

I'm sad to say probably a 3.5 due to the restaurant bringing it down from a 5*. 2 nights May/June half term The location is stunning, views are breath taking, great walking spot. The hotel rooms were amazing, newly re-fitted, very large, posh bathrooms - brilliant. Staff were very friendly and tried very hard. Breakfast is continental but very nice, although would benefit from being re-stocked during service. Restaurant - had lunch and dinner on our first day. Lunch was fine but a little slow. Prices were a little expensive but ok. Dinner - we pre booked and when we arrived the restaurant appeared to running at maybe 40%. Food order and drinks taken without issue. Fast forward 1.5 hours later and we are still waiting for food. It seems the hotel is struggling with staffing levels which I sympathise with but the paying customer should not suffer the brunt of this. The staff that were working are clearly trying hard but the back up seems to be the kitchen. The meals we did get were very mediocre and felt like they had been on the hotplate for some time (burgers). The salmon plate was sparse with no veg or sides...... a disappointing dish. The dinner experience left us disappointed and is a poor reflection of the rest of the hotel. Had the restaurant operated to its full potential this would defiantly be a 5 start . I'd stay there again but would go out for food.

Had a wonderful one night stay here last night. Great sized rooms with every amenity you could ask for, and amazing views. The beds are luxurious and so comfortable, it was difficult to drag ourselves out for breakfast. Food was delicious, with great portions. We stayed as a family and our children loved the beach and the hotel’s playground which kept them amused for hours! Thank you to the lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Located in a fabulous location with superb views from the inside as well as their lovely beer garde. There is also a cool little play area for young children that includes a boat. The service was pleasant and the food tasted nice. Only minor issue was that some of the ingredients on our meals were exchanged for other foods as they had run out, it would have been nice to have been informed before the food came so we could have changed our orders or declined the substitutions as the salmon came with chips and new potatoes and mashed veg instead of salad, so there was waste. Especially important when ordering for children and providing fish fingers not battered fish which was wasted too. But on the whole, lovely restaurant that I would visit again.

Visited with family for a Sunday lunch. A little noisey but that was mainly because it was busy, a good sign and not surprising as the food was lovely. Staff also very friendly and attentive to your needs. Great beer selection as well.
