An absolutely fantastic pub. Great meals as well. Can highly recommend the mixed grill but don't have a starter as the grill will fill you. As you can see by the pictures I've had more than just the mixed grill. Great staff and very friendly. Can highly recommend it. The pub is well worth visiting.

We have been a few times over the past 6 months for food and for the most part it is very good. We had one issue and it was sorted very quickly. Top score for customer service. The staff are lovely and polite and always very smart. A very enjoyable experience eating here.

Great lovely food. Doesn't do Real Ales any more which is a shame. My friend and I had mixed Grill very filling. The two lady's had lasagne one meat and one veggie both enjoyed. Handy for cheeky pint while waiting for the train also.

Called in today for lunch, not been for a long time. I had lasagne, my husband had fish and chips. We were well impressed, both meals were spot on. Lovely. Will definitely visit again

I would like to thank the lovely people at the Bull and Dog who accommodated 11 of us at the last minute to celebrate my grandson's 18th birthday. They even gave us a separate room to enjoy. The food was very tasty, well-cooked and piping hot. Each one of us enjoyed our meals. The home-made chips were amazing. All the staff were pleasant and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Keep doing what you do. We can't wait to come back.

Amazing food and amazing cocktails, not only cheap but the portions are perfect. Usually pay £12 for a tiny strawberry daiquiri in Liverpool but this lovely local pub provided a full, thirst quenching glass of daiquiri! The veggie /vegan options are great. I had the vegan chicken burger with fries and the meal was 10/10. Will definitely be back!

What a nice pub. The food was fresh plenty of meat in the steak and ale pie. The peas were a little hard to catch but you can't blame them for it. I would recommend the pub. The only concern is that they served corna in a san miguel glass. 🙃

Very friendly staff, excellent service, but only 1 barmaid on shift. 4 people at the bar at the same time, 3 needed drinks, and 1 wanted to pay bill for meals. A bit of a delay to get served.
