Poundbakery - St Helens (church St)

I love there prices and the food quality is just love. Always fresh food and the customer services is just amazing. What ever city I go, I tend to find its branch and they’ve never failed in giving superb customer services. I love veg curry bake but now they don’t serve it anymore. Please bring it back

Often seen as the smaller sibling of its beefed up brethren down the road, this Poundbakery is still worth it's salt despite omitting the beloved Poundcafe from its design. Let's get straight down to the meat and potatoes of the subject - the food. My short stay only permitted me to try out the "Jumbo Traditional", the lack of any clear descriptors had me fearing for what I may unravel from the PB branded bag though upon unsheathing the goods from the brown paper recepticle it appeared to be some reincarnation of the traditional pasty crossbred with a hearty English breakfast twist. Upon biting into the flaky exterior the entire pasty collapsed like the Lesotho Water Dam, giving way for a creamy load of egg yolk to be discharged into the consumers mouth. This yellow clump of nucleic acids is by far some of the best to grace my tastebuds in years and I can wholeheartedly say that the "Jumbo Traditional" is a superfood beating out even the likes of Kale or other mean greens.
