Exceptional service from all, but I have to mention one person who is an absolute credit to your establishment. Kim a server who made us feel special without being obtrusive. Came here to get breakfast and get some bits done, laptop and pads out. Food was ok, but the service was fab. No problem with us working away and found a nice quiet spot. Kim and Colin were very helpful ensuring the caffeine supply was consistent!
Kim our server was amazing. Such a busy bee, and had such a warm welcome and lovely smile. Mike the carver, filled our Yorkies up, and were scrumptious.
Me and my severely autistic daughter visited here again today. Our server Lydia was outstanding. She remembered us from a previous visit and without drawing any attention to us was happy to sit us where we needed and bring additional cutlery. She has no idea what a massive difference those little things make to us being able to eat out at all. Thankyou so so much. Food was lovely as always!
Had a great time here today. Our server Kim was absolutely exceptional. The food was superb, and as stated previously the service was exceptional. Very attentive without being overbearing..If you come here you will enjoy it and if you are lucky enough to be served by Kim you will be served by one of the best that I have come across.
Lovely pub with outside seating, full Carvery and other food available. Lovely staff that even when mad busy treat you like you're the only one there. Set in beautiful historic surroundings with a large lake and great walks. There is also a hotel on this site and it's close to easy routes to several great shopping areas.
Never had a roast dinner like it for a long time. The roast potatoes were just right, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The turkey was moist. The mash potato was lovely. The staff was lovely and polite. Cant fault it.Will definitely go again.
Kirsty, the server, turned a good meal into an excellent experience. She checked in on us - chatted a bit - and was super “on it” with the service (drinks, dessert menus, and the bill, etc., all arrived quickly). We all really appreciated her cheerfulness too!
Decided to go last minute on a Saturday night around 7pm for a carvery. There was 5 of us. It wasn't busy so I was worried that everything may have been out for a while but they brought out fresh, hot food and they had lamb which is my personal favourite. They even gave us extra yorkshire puddings. And i love the bottomless pop. So you can go an refill your drink without queuing up at the bar. It defo worth going again around that time as it was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Not chaotic as it can be at peak times
Lydia served us tonight, she made sure that we had everything we needed. She is indeed a great asset to your business. Btw, the meal was excellent as well.
