Might be the best Chinese food in town, heck might say it from the entire Merseyside! Food that has TASTE(even the egg fried rice is delicious! Is not plain at all like in other restaurants/take aways) generous portions well worth the money (they're not that expensive IMO) and the service was always fast for me The only downside that I can think of is that they only accept cash and you can't pay by card so be prepared Totally recommend it to eat at least once!

After the outstanding facebook reviews, I have seen I knew I had to give the place a try, and wow, it did not disappoint salt and pepper is probably the nicest I have eaten in the past 10 years. The gentleman working behind the counter (not sure if he's a owner or worker) is absolute credit to the place. I have never ordered from a takeaway and had someone so polite and friendly to deal with it was very refreshing. Probably one of the best chippy in the North west for Chinese food ! Very highly recommended and will be our new regular if the soups etc are as good as the food we received the other night on our next visit 😀

First time weve been here tonight, amazing food & service, the salt & pepper munchies box best in St Helens by far & proper salt & pepper, no silly powder coatings like other places, char sui curry & chips, sweet & sour battered chicken balls & noodles all excellent food, will definitely return here 5*
