Great beer well served and in great condition...handy if your train is cancelled by the train company of the year that is northern...they did me a favour

It's a nice pub and it is a very old one at that. I don't think it has been renovated too much over the years, it reminds me a lot of my local. There were not too many people when I were in there, a few people would just stop in for one and leave as the station is right there. The pint of Carling I got was £3.40.

Lovely pub on the outskirts of town just as you're waiting for your train to wherever you venture off to, nice venue, laid back atmosphere, got that traditional old fashioned pub feel... don't know if they serve food, would be trying it out if I find out they do. Not bad for first time experience with our Ricky.
