Lovely little restaurant. I have been coming here since I was a kid and the food is still as good as ever! Staff are very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend the burrito!

Brilliant restaurant. Food looks and tastes wonderful. Two vegans in our party has dishes adapted for them and both really enjoyed them. Wonderful, friendly service.

Absolutely brilliant, the specials they had on were amazing, starters were also brilliant as well. Honestly our bill was about £40 and we paid a £10 tip on top for the service and the food coming out so quick!!! The only complaint I would have is that it’s on a busy street so with the door open it can be loud and ruin some of the atmosphere BUT that’s not the restaurants fault, also make sure you call in and book because tables go fast!!
In Cornwall all week and this was the best meal out of the lot! Highly recommend for couples/families/anyone who enjoys good food!!

Very cosy restaurant with the best Mexican food my entire group and I have ever had in our lives. The service was very fast and accommodating, and our waitress was extremely lovely. Would absolutely recommend, make sure you book a table beforehand!

I went here with my husband. Our meals were delicious. We only had main courses and that gave us was plenty of food. The restaurant was cozy but wasn't too crowded at the time. Friendly service too.

This is our 5th time dining at The Mex. Always enjoy the food and drinks. The margarita is especially delicious 😋
The staff are always so lovely and friendly. A great find for authentic Mexican food in an intimate setting. I highly recommend. As always will be back next year on our next trip to St Ives.

We were very lucky to get a table (definitely book ahead). The staff were warm and welcoming (the owner had to deal with a particularly difficult customer and handled it really well). The food was excellent!
