We had a truly excellent lunch here with our young children.
Service was calm, relaxed and attentive, (and the kids were spoilt for attention!) The food was unfussy but brilliantly executed. And the location - wow! On the quieter side of St Ives, looking out over golden sands & turquoise sea!

Amazing meal here. Wonderful location right on the beach. Service was spot on with great recommendations for food (including our painful dietary requirements!) and wine. You almost have to search for it; but it is worth to 😊 Our colleagues have already been here for several times. If you like seafood, you are at the right place; and it was delicious! Whether you like a good classic Fish and Chips or you like special starters or main dishes.

Lovely restaurant set on the beach right by St Ives Station. Very popular so you'll need to book in high season but so worth it. Fish based menu but 2 veggie options for each course. Staff and service impeccable. This is on the beach so closest parking if driving is the St Ives car park or another town central car park as that is pretty small. Great kids menu, and there is a patio roof in the rain. Mains c. £32 or £36 for veggie.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Porthminster Beach Cafe and have to say that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and immediately felt a sense of hospitality. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with excellent views to the bay.
The fish served was undoubtedly some of the best I've ever had. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality.
The staff members were attentive and friendly. They were quick to offer recommendations and catered to any special requests we had. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. It's refreshing to dine at a place where the staff genuinely cares about your dining experience.
Overall, my visit was a memorable one. The combination of delicious, well-prepared fish and exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend!!

Lovely restaurant on the beach with great views and great decor. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. We sat by the balcony and had some fish and chips. Really enjoyed our meal with the views of the beach and great service.
