An absolute hidden gem in the heart of St Ives. Second visit now, food = amazing, service = amazing. atmosphere = [you guess] but it begins with an a... can't fault this place, photos will give you more of a feel.
we had an amazing dinner, the best turkish food i ever had in the UK. I don't remember the name of the dishes in turkish, chicken with mushrooms and lamb liver
Food is amazing... kebabs, liver, calamari was brilliant. Lamb guvec cannot be missed. If you come here please try.
Quantity is massive... don't go for starter and main, if you do you will be taking stuff home.

Went here for an adult family dinner tonight. Two ordered the moussaka and the rat shared the Vadi special. We are from Australia and this is the best Turkish we had including in Perth. The quantities were plentiful and the food was fabulous. We finished with coffees and they were all good as well. We have found coffee in England to be a bit variable so did enjoy decent coffee here. The only slight criticism was that some of the staff came across as a bit grumpy but I put this down to a full restaurant and being busy. The food was very tasty and all meat was cooked over coals which gave it a wonderful taste. Would recommend this restaurant.
Great Turkish food with great service. My lamb ribs had a lovely flavour and were good quality, the only thing I would say was they were quite salty and needed some sort of dressing. But I would give the food 4.5 stars as everyone else said their food was spot on. Can get noisy when full but that's up to you if you think it adds or detracts from the atmosphere.

We booked in a table for two on a Friday night with no issue at all (on the phone) - make sure you do ring ahead though as it was rammed when we arrived and clearly somewhere that's going to be very busy during peak times.
There were numerous seating options ranging from big booths for group bookings to cosy couples tables. The only bit I would note is that there were aspects of the decor and fittings which felt a little bit dated (very minor).
I wouldn't even begin to try and compare the menu with other Turkish restaurants because I'd have to understand what all of it was! Having said that, my mouth was watering as my eyes drifted across the page. You'll definitely not be short of options. My partner chose from the dedicated vegan menu and I had a chicken guvec (wholsesome and delicious) and a Effe lager.

Visited on a Monday evening around 7pm - busy even then. Starter of hummus with lamb was really good - but the mixed shish kebab I had for main course was outstanding. The chicken pieces were good, the lamb was amazing. Next time (which will probably be soon...) I'll just stick to the lamb. We were lucky to get the table right by the grill, so we could see the magic happen.

Nice food, speedy service and suprisingly busy for a Wednesday. They also brought out a baklava with a candle for someone with a birthday.
Simply excellent food. One of the best lamb shashlik I have ever had, the meat cooked beautifully. Cannot fault the service or the value for money. There's a reason this place is busy on an otherwise quiet Monday evening.
Lovely Turkish food. Quality food. Nice atmosphere you could see they grill the meat with charcoal in the restaurant as part of the kitchen is open.
Still the best and most authentic restaurant in St Ives. Highly recommend the house platter to feed a small group. Service was top notch. One small recommendation would be a draught beer!

Had a lovely meal,dessert was average as when asked for cream instead of ice cream I was given spray cream. The emphasis here is more on the starters & mains than the dessert. Good service & lovely colourful food!
Nice place, nice decor, friendly staff with good service and reasonable prices. I wasn't that impressed by the food to be honest. It was nice enough but somehow it tasted a bit prepackaged though I'm sure it wasn't.

The food was delicious and Alex and his staff were great hosts nothing was too much trouble had takeaway from here and this was also excellent.
