Calling GF / gluten free/ coeliacs- this is your home. Chilled staff , who take the time to chat to you- interesting stories. Beautiful food, hot chocolate. Quietly unassuming. Open 10-3.30 (?) so make sure you get there asap. Defo ear marked to come again when I’m back visiting.

Splendid food service and lovely location. I had breakfast here on a December Sunday and it was superb. I had a brunch bacon sausage slow roast tomatoes mushroom egg back pudding and sourdough toast. All tastes delicious and was very good quality. The menu is great excellent coffee. Also plenty of sweet treats cream tea looked great too. Would really recommend anyone to visit

Undoubtedly the best brunch I’ve ever had. Top quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The homemade fermented chilli sauce is delicious. Our dogs were made very welcome by the friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful gem of a place. Superbly delicious home cooking but with a very creative and always a very interesting touch. Very fresh. And the people who run it are so lovely as well as all their staff. So lucky to have this place right on the doorstep!! Thank you for opening in St Leonards with all your hard work & surviving lockdowns. Hats off to you!!

Lovely place. The staff is so nice and I really love how they change their menu from time to time so it won't get boring. The food has a very high quality and the food combinations taste very original. Also the coffee was absolutely delicious, the iced versions are my favorite. The last time I was there, the restaurant was full but the staff and the other visitors really did everything so that we could also be able to get some of the best lunch in Hastings. I thought that was very very nice. Their toasted bread is just yum. Greetings from Germany <3

A great little spot for breakfast - the scrambled eggs with a really generous amount of Salmon was delicious - other items looked equally good. But the best part of Sea Kale was the fermented chilli sauce, so good we had to buy a bottle to take home with us.

This has to be the best brunch I have ever had. The food, the staff, the service was beyond expectations. If you have a chance, visit this place immediately. Try the hot sauce.

Coffee was excellent and I had a bubble and squeak dish with mushrooms and an egg benedict on top. It was fabulous, the egg was cooked to perfection and both the mushrooms and bubble and squeak were full of flavour. I could tell the chef took his profession seriously as he also had home made brown sauce, which was also very good. I have to say that I also found the owner and his assistants to be very professional and very friendly. This is a small cafe but the food and service are a cut above. Highly recommended.
