Outstanding coffee with great soundtrack, delicious food and impeccable service - one of the best coffee & community places in the area!

The food was fantastic (thank you Lucy!). Coffee was also great, and we finished with their yummy cakes. The staff here are very welcoming, adding to the lovely atmosphere
There were plenty of attractive options on the menu so we'll be back soon.

I absolutely loved this place. We went here for lunch before walking into St. Leonards.
My wife quiche with salad and I had caponata with sourdough toast, followed by chocolate and Guinness cake.
The food was absolutely delicious. So full of flavour. The service was perfect-really friendly people.
The space itself is lovely, great vibe.

A lovely little cafe with excellent welcoming staff and amazing food. They even accommodated for our longer wait time with a discount. Would recommend and would definitely come back again if I’m in the area 🙂
(P.S. get the Guinness cake!)

I always try something new here. Pea and lemon soup and the caponata are so tasty. Its very clean, comfortable and I love the cosmopolitan vibe. Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and definitely a place where people can go on their own and feel at home. Ray and his staff are really friendly and his wife (Lucy) is a great cook. I went in for a quick coffee and left after brunch, with several slices of cake for my grandchildren. All you Sugar Pies and Honey Buns, a very warm welcome awaits you down in Bohemia!

Best start to our Hastings trip! Great music, perfect service and above perfect cake and coffee. We had the chocolate fudge cake and sweet potato meringue. Both were absolutely amazing! Definitely a must if you’re ever in the area.

This place feels like you are in someone's front room uninvited, a little strange but the atmosphere is comforting. Coffee was amazing and Victoria sponge was too.

Just came back from having a nice lunch in the cafe.
Friendly staff, wifi access, gorgeous food.
The salad and pickle complimented the quiche perfectly with crunchy freshness. The cake was too rich and heavy for my personal preference - although maybe on another day I would enjoy it. Overall, I am glad I found this place. It is a hidden gem.

Delicious food, great service, lovely location and atmosphere. I have been here for a brunch on a Saturday morning and was really impressed with the overall experience. The food was delicious I had smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on sourdough toast and it was superb. My girlfriend had deluxe cheese on toast and it again was delicious. Great friendly service the coffee is very good quality too, with non dairy options. Good menu too with plenty of choices. Highly recommended and I can't wait to return
