The White Cliffs Kitchen & Bar - St Margaret's at Cliffe - Photo album

I really enjoyed our trip to the white cliffs. It was a lovely place, full of character and had an amazing location, very close to the beach and the cliffs. The little town itself was nice, with a good pub or two. The garden was nice and contained, good for little ones to stay in. One thing is there
Really lovely service. We showed up before first dinner service on a Sat evening and they managed to accommodate us. All the staff were friendly. The dining area is very tidy and relaxing. Food was great (we had fish and chips, and roasted vegetables). I would have loved a more traditional roasted v
What a fab find. Was going on an early morning ferry and used as a base to stay the night. Booked a room with washing spacious clean and had a comfortable bed. The bonus is the bar. Served good food well priced and all served by great staff. Also had a good selection of beer, wine cider and other dr
Partner and I came here for his birthday weekend and loved it! We will be back with others. Great clean comfy rooms. Perfect service! Especially the blonde boy/guy/man sorry we didn't catch your name but you were very hospitable polite and literally worked every job in the building effortlessly! We
We had stayed here three times in the last year all before covid-19 started, and once post covid-19. The standards have always been very high, and nothing has changed! It's now a contact less checking in process and sadly the bar is no longer open (due to covid-19 restrictions), but we still enjoyed
Such a fabulous experience. We will return for sure, it's already on our to do list. Genuine welcome. Lovely room with wonderful views. Perfect bath towels; huge and fantastic, wonderful. Great bar. Delicious food. So so friendly. Freshly cooked breakfast, obviously prepared with Love
Incredible food and incredibly friendly people. For such a nice place, we were hesitant to stop in with our young boys. But we had just walked from the cliffs beach (long story) and didn't have many options. We went inside and braced for the irritability that might come from bringing kids into a nic
the white cliff hotel is a absolute treasure, I visited for the weekend with my partner and it was the perfect place to unwind from our usual 9-5 children filled lifestyle. It has that warm cosy feel with brilliant food, log burning fires, friendly staff and a room that exceeded our expectations (ro
We arrived on a Sunday to the closest train station at Martin Mill close to 6pm and raining. After delays in Paris and a race to catch a train we finally arrived at the station. No taxi, no Uber & no bus. What are we to do? We walked - two adults and 3 children... After a while of walking and drench
We lived in the loft with family and I really liked it. We have been to this hotel three time in the last 5 years. They are constantly renovating. Dinner was good in their restaurant. About 30 min walk till cliffs lighthouse. Nice church around.
We booked this venue for our wedding and Theresa and all the team were first class from start to finish. The organisation was throughout done with excellent communication and made our big day so easy! The food was first rate and so much more than we could even have hoped, all our guests have raved
We had a lovely stay at the White Cliffs Hotel. The village setting is quaint and charming and the proximity to the White Cliffs ideal for walks and hikes. Pros: - friendly, warm staff - restaurant and bar on site with delicious local selection - dog-friendly - on-site parking - quiet - comfortable
A good overnight stop near Dover ferry terminal being 10 to 15 minutes by car and yet in the countryside. Parking to front and back of the hotel. We were in the rear of the hotel in the old part which was quiet. We arrived late so we did not dine but the atmosphere in the bar was good. Cosy and very
The White Cliffs is an attractive little hotel in a picturesque part of the country. There are some great walks nearby as well as the beach and gardens. The food was excellent at dinner, as was the service. There is a very good selection of drinks in the bar, including beers and sparkling wines fro
Food is interesting, well cooked and although perhaps not the cheapest you can find well worth the price. Fantastic selection of local beers and a couple of ciders. Beer price is high but with such a large range there is probably a fair amount of wasteage.
A fun, quirky little hotel with very friendly staff. The room was great, well equipped, clean & warm. The food was very tasty and they had a good selection of local beers. I would definitely stay here again.
