Great location, with views of the bay where you can spot dolphins, and ample parking. The jewellery selection is lovely and the cafe excellent. Despite said cafe being heaving (we sat at one of only two free tables), we were served quickly and the food arrived promptly too. I had the Big Breakfast Roll, which I was expecting to have one of each of the items. (Sausage, bacon, egg, black pudding.) It ended up being two of each! A pleasant if filling surprise!

Fantastic place! We had coffee and cakes with a fabulous view of Scapa Flow. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was an excellent selection of cakes to choose from. We brought our little furry friend Ike who was helping us write a blog about our Orkney Adventure! Then a little look round the gift shop where my daughter and I treated ourselves to a couple of beautiful pieces of jewellery- mine is the Standing Stones necklace which has attracted lots of admiring comments! Pleased to hear that Celina has an online shop - definitely tempted to buy more!! Heartily recommended!!

As a tour guide I regularly bring guests to Barrier View Cafe , they all enjoy eating delicious food with the spectacular view of the Churchill Barriers. The cakes and savoury snacks are tasty and freshly made , the staff are so helpful and always smiling. Highly recommended cafe, and the jewellery and crafts in the gallery are a real bonus and so tempting !
