We visited the watch house on the first night of our holiday. The food was so delicious that we ended up visiting twice more on our week long trip. The fish was beautifully fresh, excellent wine, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We couldn’t recommend more highly eating at this lovely
Had the take away fish and chips. Overall pretty good. Good piece of fish and large chips was indeed v large. Batter v slightly on greasy side for my taste but onion rings v tasty. Service friendly and prompt.
I'm telling you one thing so listen up.. this is the best fish and chip shop in Cornwall and probably in the UK.. chips are thick cut and beautifuly cooked onion rings are to die for... Cod is so fresh it winked at me.. mushy peas are not to my liking but that's just personal preference. Just watch

Food was still lovely, but I had to drop a star from previous as the greeting we had upon arrival was a grunt and a point to a table. Lovely new face serving us though, looked a bit 'gruff' but gave some excellent advise. Will still go again next year, just think that staffing is light on the ground

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Clean and bright premises. A good choice on the menu with a few specials too. The food was excellent and cooked very well. Little touches like a bowl for the waste after shelling prawns and another with water and lemon to clean fingers. Well worth the visit.
