We're currently on holiday and in between all the touristy bits, we stopped for an impromptu lunch after seeing lots of good reviews online for Sands, and wow...it did not disappoint!
T'other half had the Sands Burger and I had the Beef Tacos, by far the yummiest food I've had in a long time. The portion of chips was very healthy and also really tasty. The hot chocolate was also absolutely banging, I could've eaten it all over again.
Both members of staff we came across were fantastic - the guys in the checkered shirt and yellow t-shirt were polite and friendly and happy to entertain us tourists, so thank you for humouring us when we sat at the furthest end of the outdoor seating!
We'll hopefully be back before we go home, even if just for the tacos!
Their banana pancakes are so tasty and generous! We also love their sausages and poached eggs and avocado. They have delicious homemade sodas too and their coffee is on point. Note that this family run business uses disposable plates.
We stopped here after strolling along the beach, it wasn't a planned visit but we were ready for a drink and spotted the parasols from the beach.
We ordered the chicken sandwich and chips to share. The chicken sandwich was more like a chicken burger, pieces of breaded / battered chicken served on a burger bun, so not entirely what we expected but it was very tasty. The portion of chips was much bigger than expected and we couldn't finish them. We also tried a couple of the homemade sodas, which were excellent.
A very good find, and one we'd definitely recommend.
Great place for a quick lunch. Highly recommend the Chicken sandwich and hot chocolate! Menu is small but all the food looks incredible!
The burger is really good! Staff were friendly . Enjoyed being in the sun with the view of the bay 🤩
Best place to eat at St Oeun's beach! The burgers are soo good and the boss is really friendly. I recommend the homemade ginger beer and the Chicken Sandswhich 👌🏽💯

Fabulously fresh food , local produce , expertly cooked and served with a smile by friendly , knowledgeable staff . Best ginger beer you'll ever taste . Very reasonably priced , no plastic in sight and where would you rather be than next to the Atlantic . Thanks Little Joes .
