We visited cafe india on Saturday we didn't book a table but they found us a table as usual the staff were brilliant very friendly the food was delicious can't recommend cafe india enough we won't eat any where else for an Indian

Lovely meal out with friends. Can got very busy on Saturday evenings but wasn't too bad at 8.30pm when we went. Nice friendly staff.

Lovely waiters, delicious food. Reasonably priced too and within one bite I was in love - I had the chicken tikka Pathia and my and my father had the chicken tikka dupiaza. Atmosphere was much better than some of the other Indian restaurants I’ve been to, and it was very quite which was nice. However the lighting was a bit dark so it was hard to see the food and the music kept stopping and starting again. Other than that we had a wonderful time and it filled us up well!

Amazing food and really friendly staff the restaurants is impeccable it was my husband and I first time at Cafe India but definitely will not be our last an absolute gem of a find .

We got a takeaway from Café India for the first time last weekend and the food was very nice. The poppadum's were good and came with a very generous portion of mango chutney, mint raita and the standard raw onions and chopped coriander. The Naan's were well cooked and a decent size. The mains were enjoyed by all and the portions were a decent size.
The restaurant was not busy when we got there (approx 1945hrs) and we ordered on arrival and the food was ready within 15mins. Just enough time to have a pint of Cobra in the waiting/bar area.
We will be getting another takeaway from Café India in the near future.

Food was excellent, but the service was slow to begin with. We weren't offered poppadoms for a long time which is unusual and come 9.30 it was plain that we need to make a move. Other wise very good.
