Called in today for lunch with 6 other people in the party. Service was quick and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent and very tasty, the belly pork dish is one off the best I have ever had. Well worth the money as all the party enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning.

My fiancé and I came here last night for our anniversary! And we absolutely loved it here. The food was beautiful we both started with the chicken pâté, for mains I had the confit duck leg and he had the burger. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I literally can’t not fault the place at all. I recommend 100%

Lovely first visit after being recommended. The Fish & Chips were fabulous reminded me of Scarborough harbour yum! And hubby had the Lamb roast dinner with beautiful fresh veggies. Attentive Service, cleanliness, toilets, ambiance and dining area were great. Lovely experience. Also saw lovely outside area and outside bar for daytime dining was well presented and lovely views. Overall loved it. Thankyou we will be back 😁

Went for a mid-week meal and was really impressed. Service was excellent, ambience really nice and food was fantastic. They even boxed up a dessert to take away with us. Highly recommend a visit for drinks, bar or restaurant meal.

Came here while on holiday in the area, the service was second to none, the burger was the best we have ever had. Great atmosphere and very clean throughout. Highly recommend

A mid week lunch with family. Fish and chips were excellent said husband. I had chicken and ham pie. The pie and chips were lovely but the tender stem broccoli was cold and too tough to cut or eat. Sweets were nice. Friendly staff, nice surroundings and dining areas.

Firstly, I can't comment on the rooms, sorry. Service very good, food excellent. Beer mats please? I did ask. Only small matter but it would have saved my wife's skirt getting wet. On a more serious matter. My wife is severely disabled, why are the disabled parking ares so far from the entrance? Would love to have given 5 stars. Nevertheless, thank you for a lovely evening.

This pub is set in a beautiful idyllic location. The views are amazing. Plenty of tables outside. The car park isn't too big but they allow extra parking on the field. The range of food is impressive and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Even furry friends are allowed. Wheelchair accessible too.

This is a favourite of mine as they always seem to serve a good pie. Not tonight though, as they were still using the Sunday lunch menu: roast beef and Yorkshire pud will always take priority. The place is a short ten minute drive from central Stafford and is well worth a visit. During the day, there is a pleasant garden with tables and one can pat the llamas, if they are feeling sociable.

This pub and hotel is located in a lovely location and the interior decor is nicely presented offering an elegant and homely feel. Staff are friendly and the food is well presented and reasonably quick in terms of service. The seating is comfortable and they offer a great array of food and drink with an Asian influence to several dishes, which was a surprise for the area but good to see some variety. We didn’t stay at the hotel but came for an evening dinner, we turned one dish away because the batter tasted stale and the color was dark, we assume the oil was probably old and when questioning it, the server immediately offered to have another made, which was far better, a nice touch. Other dishes were all excellent. Deserts were equally varied wit some classics and some modern twists. Taste was good and presentation again was nothing to complain about. Overall I’d recommend visiting the Saracens Head in Walton.

Lovely location for a campervan overnight and meal. Plenty of space to park and we had the best meal we’ve had in ages. Friendly welcome from staff and gorgeous walks along the canal right next to the pub. Great menu and value for money. They do a fab offer for dinner, bed and breakfast for £130. The rooms look fab and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. We will be back!
