Lovely first visit after being recommended. The Fish & Chips were fabulous reminded me of Scarborough harbour yum! And hubby had the Lamb roast dinner with beautiful fresh veggies. Attentive Service, cleanliness, toilets, ambiance and dining area were great. Lovely experience.

Went for a mid-week meal and was really impressed. Service was excellent, ambience really nice and food was fantastic. They even boxed up a dessert to take away with us. Highly recommend a visit for drinks, bar or restaurant meal.
Came here while on holiday in the area, the service was second to none, the burger was the best we have ever had. Great atmosphere and very clean throughout. Highly recommend
A mid week lunch with family.
Fish and chips were excellent said husband. I had chicken and ham pie. The pie and chips were lovely but the tender stem broccoli was cold and too tough to cut or eat.
Sweets were nice.
Friendly staff, nice surroundings and dining areas.
Firstly, I can't comment on the rooms, sorry.
Service very good, food excellent.
Beer mats please? I did ask. Only small matter but it would have saved my wife's skirt getting wet.
On a more serious matter.
My wife is severely disabled, why are the disabled parking ares so far from the entrance?

This pub is set in a beautiful idyllic location. The views are amazing. Plenty of tables outside. The car park isn't too big but they allow extra parking on the field.
The range of food is impressive and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Even furry friends are allowed. Wheelchair access
This is a favourite of mine as they always seem to serve a good pie. Not tonight though, as they were still using the Sunday lunch menu: roast beef and Yorkshire pud will always take priority.
The place is a short ten minute drive from central Stafford and is well worth a visit.

This pub and hotel is located in a lovely location and the interior decor is nicely presented offering an elegant and homely feel. Staff are friendly and the food is well presented and reasonably quick in terms of service. The seating is comfortable and they offer a great array of food and drink wit
Great pub! Just back from dinner here, good food particularly Sunday roasts, super dog friendly for our chihuahuas, great for gluten free, lovely staff, will return!
Lovely location for a campervan overnight and meal. Plenty of space to park and we had the best meal we’ve had in ages. Friendly welcome from staff and gorgeous walks along the canal right next to the pub. Great menu and value for money. They do a fab offer for dinner, bed and breakfast for £130. Th
Food was good. Asked for extra toast which took longer than you’d normally expect and one member seemed short. The woman in the blazer was very polite and friendly.
Had a meal with friends here....food was amazing. Gluten free options were fab, so much so, I had 3 starters instead of a main course. GF Tempura king prawns were gorgeous as was the GF cauliflower fritters. Will definitely recommend this place and will be going back soon. Lovely decor, very clean
We stopped for a drink, and they have a lovely garden, good selection of nice drinks and food. Plus, a lovely cat, lamas and goats next door. Great place for families and dogs because there is a good space between the tables which is rare but makes it a comfortable experience.
Somebody told us this place was cool with campervans parking outside overnight. We called them to double check and indeed they were happy to let us stay there for free. They have a Llama farm behind the pub and we had a sound night sleep only hearing the animals. In the morning we grabbed some tasty
Worth the drive!
This place has the most amazing view in the outdoor seating area.
Staff was very friendly and the food was really good. I had my first Gamon steak with egg. Pretty tasty if you have never had it.
Worth the drive, especially if it’s a pretty day.
Happy Customers here.
