Booked a table for 6 on Sunday. Staff couldn't of been better!
We mentioned to our waitress it was my mum's birthday, when she bought the desserts out she had rounded up the staff to sing happy birthday to my mum and put a candle in her dessert. Really made the meal that extra bit special.
Food was lovely and the cat enjoyed his catty bag of meat we couldn't quite finish. Let very full and very happy. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
Had a most enjoyable dinner , staff were friendly and service was excellent, food was amazing, my friend and myself popped in on the way home from the theatre , even though we hadn’t booked staff were very accommodating , the main restaurant was full and fully booked , we had our meal in the lounge area which was lovely , the decoration was contemporary and stylish, I will definitely go back , well done to the staff at The Seven Stars .
Went here for Sunday dinner on my girlfriends birthday. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food came out and looked amazing but tastes even better! We both went for the roast beef which was reasonably priced in the offer. We will definitely be returning in the future!
Visited for lunch today in a party of three. Have visited 5-6 times before.
The pub is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. Staff are pretty friendly and attentive. Food arrived in good time and everything was correct on our order.
The menu doesn't ever seem to vary which is a pity- I got a bit tired of the same choices on the list each time I've visited. Sausage and mash today was really too rich and the gravy was like a chocolate sauce. Popcorn chicken and chilli beef salad were both really good.
Taken off one star because the food is good, but could vary more. The food today was good, just a bit rich.
The lunchtime 2/3 course menu is very good value compared to the usual price list and recommended.
Went here for Sunday dinner which was absolutely fantastic. The service was fast and staff were very friendly. And of course the food was top tier, lots of flavour. Went for my birthday and staff gave me a card which was a nice touch.
Highly recommend place to visit, this restaurant was beautiful inside and out. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and all food and drinks were served quickly despite it being busy. The only negative point I have to say was that the music was playing too loudly. Photos of our food choices included in review.
We booked the semi private area for a large group to celebrate my mum's 60th Birthday. The staff were extremely accommodating in every aspect and everyone was happy with the quality of the food and service. 10/10 experience. Thank you.
O.M.G what a lovely surprise to finally find a pub that takes pride in appearance , service , quality and the most amazing food n drink 🍸. Booked a table and the staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble " had our one year old granddaughter " . The food was absolutely stunning and very tasty. The best two hours I've ever enjoyed and can't wait to go back . First thing the staff asked was did anyone have allergies with food ingredients !

Sent here by the hotel when we were turned away from the hotel bar. Was very pleased when walked into this modern and well fitted out bar with nice lighting and ambiance. Staff were helpful and service was quick. We had a lovely meal and would return when back in the area.

Really lovely ambience when you walk in . Loved the decor, and the staff could not have been friendlier. Really excellent service. The food was beautiful. Camembert wedges and duck for starters . I had pork for main while my partner had ham and leek pie . The pork was stunning as was the sauce in the pie . Would definitely recommend . Would advise booking so you're not disappointed
