Absolutely the best meal out from start to finish. The staff couldn't have been more helpful from taking my coat and helping me put it back on at the end of the evening to making sure we were well attended throughout our meal. As for the food! Amazing!! Everything we had was by far the best we've ever had! Highly recommend this place to everyone! Will definitely be returning as soon as we can x
Dined here with me younger brother, ordered poppadoms had a great selection of dips especially the green chutney, for starter I had the Salmon which tasted amazing it was accompanied with a potato on a bed of beetroot great combination for mains I had the Kaali Mirch which was a ginger based dish tasted good. The great thing about this place is the attention to detail after each course the waiters gave sorbets and yoghurt with a different selection of small fruits to cleanse the palette. For dessert we had the rockslide brownie laced in ganache and caramel it was absolutely amazing, will definitely be returning and I recommend you try this place out. The staff were also very helpful and more than happy to help if you require a recommendation.
High quality food with excellent presentation. I've watched this restaurant develop and just get better and better. The soft shell crab starter is especially remarkable. The staff want to do a great job and care about doing so, opening the door for you as you leave. Recommend a visit.
Visited for an evening meal to celebrate my wife's 72nd birthday. Just the two of us. I had driven past on numerous occasions and thought that the place looked inviting so booked a table on a Saturday evening on a whim. The food, service and overall ambience of the restaurant didn't disappoint. Based on this experience, we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future and recommend it to others.
Visited Viceroy last night. A party of 4 for my birthday celebration. We all had the £11.95 four course special. It was fabulous. Great food, polite service and beautiful setting sat in the Orangery overlooking Milford common. The best Indian cuisine we’ve had in a long time. We will be back very soon.
We use Viceroy, around twice a month either eating in or take-away.
The dining in experience has always been positive, we take friends and family whenever they visit.
However the takeaway is very hit and miss, sometimes of the restaurant quality, some times not, with dry meat, and overcooked (reheated) rice. This evening's order also took over 2.5 hours to come, apparently a website/app fault, even though at 1.5hours I was told it would be there in 10mins..
The online ordering utility should be removed until it works.
Great place to visit, went here on the spur of the moment, and they fitted myself and my partner in just fine, 5 min wait.
I had the white chicken curry, what was out of this world, never heard of this dish let alone had this dish before, its definitely worth trying, a nice taste bit I'm not going to give it all away, as its well worth trying.
My partner had a Rogan josh, lovely taste, just a tiny bit of a salt taste but that could have just been us and our taste buds.
The rice and nan breads were cooked very nice.
Poppadoms and variety chutneys had a lot of taste, there was a green chutney version what was the best one that we've ever tasted.

I love this restaurant! Second visit here and it does not disappoint. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The venue itself is really nice and very pleased they have expanded their carpark now. The food is off the charts. There are some amazing takes on traditional dishes and some unique dishes you won't find in other restaurants and all are excellently balanced. We took 2 family members with us this time and they said afterwards that it had ruined cheap indian restaurants for them! But please know that this is by no means expensive and in comparison to other quality restaurants I would say competitive. If you havent tried it then make it your next meal out.
Massive improvement from our last visit about 8 months ago. The food was lovely. Just as importantly the service was excellent and friendly. Last time we went the waiting staff had a poor grasp of English and were boardering on being rude.we will definitely be back.
One of the nicest Indian restaurants I have eaten in, comfortable with a good atmosphere. Food was excellent, great spread of different dishes with some courses you wouldn't get elsewhere plus the usuals. Good choice of vegetarian options saag paneer was delicious and separately so were our garlic chicken and other chicken dishes. Duck to start fantastic and melt in the mouth. Cobra and an Indian IPA on draft plus cocktails and other good selection of drinks. The chocolate filo dessert we had at the end was a must as well! We will definitely be returning for another dine in.
What a wonderful find. The service and food was fantastic. Rashan the manager came to greet us as this was our first visit. You can tell that he is passionate about his restaurants and clearly has invested so much into his business. Highly recommended.
A fabulous Indian restaurant with amazingly good service and delicious food with delightful little palate cleansers and hors d'oeuvres... The restaurant is warm, comfortable and very nicely decorated and lovely set tables. Slightly more costly than your average Indian restaurant but it is above average so well worth it. Free parking also available.
