Absolutely Fantastic Food, Very good portions, Good price. The Food was Devine, it's a long time since we've had food cooked to perfection at any establishment. The Chef at The Navigation Inn deserves a Medal. 10/10. Will definitely Return, and can Definitely Recommend.

A cracker of a pub. Good food and a smashing atmosphere. We turned up soaking wet from a paddle on the canal and we were looked after with radiators to dry kit. Excellent 👌👍

Cracking pub in a great location. Called in for a pint and a snack after walking along the canal and stayed much longer than expected. Great atmosphere, snacks, drink selection and friendly staff. The onion rings are an absolute must!!

Popped in for lunch on the Summer Solstice . Lovely place with friendly staff. I had Beer battered Cod whilst my husband opted for a omelette. My Cod came with freshly made tartare sauce which was perfect . Delicious. We couldn't fault the service or the food.

Only had a quick drink and snack, so can't really comment on the food. But sandwich and chips were good. Only pub open on Mondays in village, average selection of beers. Other diners food looked appeasing.

We stopped for some drinks at The Navigation Inn at Gnosall, whilst hiring the Canal boat for the day. Great service and a lovely pint of Guinness. Pub was very clean and tidy, very welcoming.......

Sunday 6th June 2021- Roast dinner lunch: We booked a roast dinner for today here and wow, it was absolutely delicious, fresh and homely cooked...perfect 10/10 score!!! Perfectly cooked, all delicious and so freshly made ....no frozen ingredients here at all! It's the first time I just didn't have room for a pudding although did have a tasty coffee and wee malt afterwards to help with digestion of our Roast dinner lunch. Thank you so much to Roy, (le chef) Clare, Torie and Kyle...you guys are absolute stars and we feel so at home here now and part of your lovely Navigation Inn familia..lol. Unfortunately we have to chug off tomorrow but we'll be back again most definitely! Stay safe, keep well and take care until we see you again at some point in the near future.... One of our best favourite pubs on the canals. A perfect 10/10 score....👍👏👏👏 Monday 31st May 2021 to Thursday 3rd June 2021: Finally got back here again on various occasions as we met up with canal boat friends as well as our grown up kids too.. The exception this time was visiting from the nearby visitor moorings where we moored up on our narrowboat.... Fantastic food, great kept ale, good house Chardonnay, lovely atmosphere, outdoors garden and decking looking out onto the canal. Thanks Roy, Clare and Torie for making us feel totally at home, welcomed and your cheerful friendly and smiling service was totally appreciated! Until next time, stay safe and well.... We've driven past on numerous occasions as well as on the canal on our narrow boat and always wanted to venture into the Navigation Inn. Finally on a rather blustery day in October whilst driving through Gnosall yet again from our family in Stafford, we decided to pop in to have a drink. Even though the lunch service had finished, we were welcomed by the landlord. The wine was good and although no guest ales were on tap due to delivery, I had a Bank's amber ale which was good. We sat outside as we wanted to see the canal and must say, the beer garden is big and the 48 hour moorings for canal boaters is great; certainly give it another visit during spring or summer?
