Great place for a pint. Great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. Would always recommend it.
First went there in May. Love all Titanic beers but Titanic plumb Porter is a Porter I can always drink. Now I should have marked you down for this because I shouldn’t have had such a strong beer but they had the plum porter reserve on at 6.5% and I had a pint and a half. No self discipline but I survived, and needless to say I will be back.
Visited for the first time on a Tuesday lunchtime. Very nice inside, obviously full range of Titanic beers available,But also a couple of guest beers on cask and keg. Had something to eat, very nice food, only a typical pub style menu but it was absolutely delicious and very good value for the money. Definitely worth a visit.
I've always been a fan of Titanic Brewery ales, so when I noticed that Stafford had a pub devoted to the brewery I wasn't going to miss out during my first stay in the town. Fair to say I wasn't left disappointed and the range and quality of beers on offer was tremendous. The Cherry and Plum Porter were both delicious and although I fancied trying the Raspberry Pale, the barman, upon noticing how indifferent it looked sampled it first and advised against it. Many pubs would just serve a pint and wait for you to find out that it had "gone" so this was a really good touch.
The pub itself is absolutely huge, split into various areas and kept in outstanding condition. Clean toilets and a large outside area for when the weather was nicer than the floods that we encountered that weekend.
Although we didn't sample the food the menu is varied, reasonably priced and going by how many people were tucking in to plates of food when we walked past the pub on Sunday afternoon, safe to say that the food will be just as good as the beer.
A gem of a pub and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
I was based at Stafford with the RAF back in the 80's
We have an Annual Reunion and most of the public houses are still going strong fortunately.
More than can be said for the vast majority of the shops.
Always enjoyed Titanic Ales and nice to drink it locally..
I'm actually drinking it as I post this review in Suffolk!
Always was a popular drinking hole and glad to see it's still open after so many closed during Covid
A high quality pub. Service is exemplary.
The food is freshly prepared so expect a short wait for the excellent food to be delivered.
The real ale is exceptional with a good choice of lager, cider, wine and soft drinks too.
There is an outside seating area and a car park. Make sure that you log your car details for the free car parking.
Well worth a visit.
Litterally, the only issue l had was the fact that as the area around was flooded, people couldn't get there making the place quiet. Those that could get in were friendly, service good, food good. We had dinner steak & ribs. Hope to be back.
Great pub great service, never ate there so can't comment, overall very friendly and welcoming and as a bonus accepts defence Discount and blue light cards. Dropped a star as a manager was quite abrasive over the appearance of a very small bottle of post meal digestive spirit, the treat came from Norway with a veteran who was visiting from Norway, to attend the days Ride To The Wall event. We had all eaten else where and the spirit is a Norwegian tradition. The manager spoke to the 8 guests of which 5 were decorated veterans as if we were naughty school children sneaking in a ltr bottle of vodka to save on our bar bill. As a result we finished our drinks and went to spend our evening in a more respectful environment. His loss, and a shame considering his bar staff were very friendly and communicative.
Very nice place to be if you want to taste the local beer (I would recommend the Titanic Plumb Porter) and have good pub food.
I would recommend also to the male audience to visit the unique curiosity installed in the toilet...
Staff is very friendly and the place is very clean and tidy.
Not had food here hence the zero star status. The bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a Titanic brewery pub so all the Titanic beer is available. They have a nice array of other real ales so that keeps me happy as Titanic beer isn't to my taste. Good atmosphere, busy. Great pub
A fantastic venue for our sixties party and meal.
Really enjoyed having a private room and some outdoor space for our music.
The food was excellent . Everyone enjoyed their chicken lamb or vegetable curries.
The starters were very good too with amazing dips to go with our poppadoms onion bajis and chicken pakoras.
Great pub
Fantastic beer selection
Plenty of seating inside and out
Good menu, when they have everything in stock.
Close to other pubs so good to add to the pub crawl list if you're in Stafford.
