Probably the best Chinese restaurant and takeaway around the town. We have been ordering for years and it is always consistently good. The restaurant is nice and clean and normally it is not crowded which is a plus this days. Take away is usually fast so food arrives hot and before you starve too much. I don't know how they do it but I get delivered in Baswich in about 30 minutes after ordering and paying by phone with my debit card. If you collect they have the order ready usually in 15/20 minutes. My favourites are the Singapore Vermicelli, the bean curd in black bean sauce (tofu) ...but they have many other delicious options like the crispy chicken and salt and pepper squid, crab and corn soup, etc. We also visited the restaurant to dine in. The place is very clean, nicely decorated and the service is friendy and proffesional. I would recomend one of the banquests which came hot from the kitchen and you get the taste of some of the best dishes. We had the set B and it was fantastic

I always try and give fair reviews and this is a bit of a mixed one. This was the first time me and my friends had been here and the general look and atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't the best, unfortunately. The staff were lovely and friendly and they had a gluten free menu which was great for my friend who is Coeliac. The food was actually really good and I had probably the best yuk sung and salt n pepper chips I have ever eaten. The portions were good but the prices were all different from the menu to what was then noted on our receipt (most things had gone up by £1). When paying, we noticed the area behind the counter was really messy and covered rubbish and clutter, which made the place look dirty. Will I come back again? Yes! Just for the fact they had a gf menu and the food made up for the look and feel of the restaurant.

Tried this restaurant 2 weeks ago and was very impressed. Tried again tonight and met Tony the owner of 20 years and you couldn't meet a more courteous, friendly and all round great chap who obviously loves interaction with customers. 5 star service and five star food . If Chinese food is your guilty pleasure, then look no further than this excellent restaurant. 🤙

Ordered for the first time, after being recommended from a family member. Came in about 40 minutes which is standard to what we expect, especially on a Saturday night. Food was piping hot still, well sealed and tasted amazing. We had the meal option for two people, which when arrived could easily fill 4 people, if you were to purchase a portion of chips on the side too. Honestly. everything was spot on! Will definitely be ordering again 😊

Had such a wonderful meal here for my friend's birthday. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. I was excited to see they had my favourite dish, mapo tofu, which I struggle to find in other Chinese restaurants in this town. I wish they would also put it on the takeaway menu :) Thank you for a lovely evening!

If you’re eating in, inside is clean and well presented. If you’re ordering takeaway delivery charge is expensive at £3. Their food is normally great; however, I wouldn’t order when the football is on. The manager is nice and lets his staff off early to watch it and trys to do everything himself, the problem is he is a terrible cook. I asked him once if it was him cooking the food or his regular staff before ordering, as I noticed it was him who answered the phone (which is unusual). I tried my best to explain politely, that I liked the regular cook’s food but not his. He was very rude told me not to order from their again and hung up. If you're going to order, personally I'd check to see if the football is on before hand.
