Yesterday I brought my hen party for a Spa and afternoon tea. I must say the staff and food was amazing. Not only was the food so tasty, it was well presented and the staff could not do enough for us, anything we needed it was not a problem. I was extremely chuffed that they had listened and recorded the dietry information correctly and was able to accommodate ceoliac, nutt allergy and a vegetarian. I was so happy about this as alot of restuarnt do struggle with the knowledge of these allergies. They even came to double check the allergies before food was brought out, everyone was made to feel part of the party and not left out because of allergies. So I would just like to say a massive thank you to the staff and chef for making one bride and her party very very happy.
Been here tonight for a meal with my family for my 30th birthday. The food was amazing and all the staff were lovely and very kind. Even when we were the last ones left they still had lots of time for us. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful food. Thank you to all the staff!!
Birthday meal for 10 people. The vegetables were roasted and served in one bowl with oil in, 2 bowls between 10 people. We asked for extra potatoes, as the 2 bowls was not enough. We expected to have some steamed vegetables but there was none. It was a bit oily. The meat was nice and the fish, the vegetarian meal was a bit sickly. Staff nice and helpful. Lovely restaurant, decor lovely.
We visited the restaurant on a warm September evening. It was lovely sitting on the terrace for some drinks before the meal. The food was first class and the service was attentive without being imposing. We then had an hour on the terrace after the meal to enjoy the rest of the evening. It was a really enjoyable night and we have plans to return again with a slightly larger group. Definitely a venue that needs to be visited.
Lovely place for an evening meal, great well timed service with a smile and good food, reasonably priced too.
