It's hard to find a place for a good sunday roast!... glad we found this little gem!
The roast here was delicious 😋 good size portion & great price! The staff team are very welcoming, friendly & attentive... will definitely be going back!

So with limited time left we headed off to the anchor for a late afternoon roast. We’ve eaten here before and was not disappointed on our second visit. Very welcoming staff and the food was piping hot and exceptionaly delicious. Well worth the visit and will be again. Thankyou

We had heard that the Sunday roasts are great so we gave it a go and were not disappointed, they are fantastic! Really good size, delicious gravy and plenty of veg. The belly pork was awesome!
The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble, really welcoming and relaxing. A really enjoyable Sunday had by all and looking forward to my next roast!

Popped in for a drink to kill some time. They had obviously been booked out for an event that hadn't started yet, so was fairly empty. Pretty standard pub/working mens. Nice friendly staff, and more TVs than is humanly needed but good if you like football.

I had a great time at this small pub. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The selection of beers was great and the food was delicious. I had a few drinks and some snacks and they were all reasonably priced. The music was enjoyable and the atmosphere was relaxed. The pub was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely be back to this pub soon. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed a few hours here on a Saturday when they opened at midday. Ordered some spicy 8" pizza which was really tasty & wish I'd ordered the 12". Pool table as well as multiple tv screens showing sport. Lots of horses passing by outside while we enjoyed our drinks. See menu in pictures, reasonably priced. Regulars friendly, lovely pub great staff. Bus stop a few mins walk. Lovely walk within a few mins walk if u want to get up an appetite before popping in
