Marriotts Fine Dining

I found Marriott's online and asked Regi (who covers setup and service) and Charlie (his business partner and the chef) to cater for about 50 guests for my wife's surprise 50th birthday party at our house in Acton. They really did a spectacular job. Regi was so easy to deal with on the menu and he customised canapés to fit some of our own preferences. His suggestions went way beyond what I expected. You can see him in one of the pictures, serving one of the canapés: Seared tuna, baby cucumber, aioli, olive crumble. This is a very high-class experience. They showed up in very good time on the evening of the party and got straight to work preparing the space, polishing glasses and preparing drinks in the ice buckets. Regi was an absolute star, taking care of the smallest details, even lighting candles around the house as well as working out ahead of time what to do with empty bottles to keep the space clear. As soon as the guests arrived Regi and his two lovely helpers were offering them a drink from the trays they had brought and then topping them up efficiently, while also serving canapes. Meanwhile Charlie and his assistant chef were preparing the main dishes and getting the barbecue ready. The food was really excellent. The burger was as good as anything I have had in the best burger places in London (Byron RIP). There were some lovely salads and an excellent pineapple pudding. The whole team did a great job in setting the dishes out nicely on the kitchen island and then keeping the serving space clear. They picked up dirty dishes and washed them while also continuing to top up glasses and generally keep the party buzzing. The portions were also very generous, there was more than enough food for everyone. Many guests commented both on the quality of the food and on the lovely service. I would work with Regi and Charlie in a heartbeat. They are lovely people who deliver excellent service and delicious food.

Charlie made a private dinner for 10 on the event of my parents’ golden wedding. Everything about the experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The canapés were beautiful and the meal was divine. Charlie and his staff were really lovely throughout. Definitely highly recommend! I really hope we get the chance to use his services again before too long.

Charlie catered for my 40th birthday dinner party last weekend and exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious and all guests thoroughly enjoyed it. We worked together to create the perfect menu (meeting all dietary requirements) for the occasion well ahead of time. Charlie made the organisation and delivery of the event easy and seamless and even cleaned the kitchen and washed up all the dishes and pans at the end. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Marriott’s Fine Dining!

I was lucky enough to have Charlie and his team cater my 21st birthday dinner at Strawberry Hill House in July and I was absolutely blown away. Charlie made the experience of planning the dinner and courses the most collaborative and easy experience, nothing was too difficult or too much to ask for. The food was perfect for the occasion, beautifully presented and was so delicious. I can’t thank Charlie and his team enough, the night ran perfectly smoothly and all my guests were so impressed. It surpassed all my expectations and was perfect. Charlie really did go the extra mile to ensure the evening was perfect, including amazing canapés and beautifully presented menus. I would highly recommend Marriott’s Fine Dining for any event!

Charlie cooked a most amazing meal for my husband’s 60th birthday. He arrived at our holiday house and prepared the food while we relaxed in the garden. The canapés were outrageously good. Charlie maintained a professional but very friendly position throughout. Every aspect of the meal was perfect - taste and presentation. I have no hesitation in highly recommending him. A very relaxing fine dining experience.

Charlie has catered two dinner parties for us now & both were absolutely amazing. Charlie created fantastic bespoke menus for both my dad’s 70th and my husband’s 40th based on their favourite foods. His canapés are delicious and a great start to the evening. Everyone on both occasions was absolutely blown away by the presentation of the food and the taste! Charlie is a fantastic chef and completely professional & the kitchen looked like it hadn’t been used. I definitely recommend Charlie and look forward to the next time we have an excuse to book him!

Marriott's Fine Dining created our unique, bespoke cold wedding buffet that not only looked stunning, but tasted delicious! They catered to meet the needs of the many different dietary requirements that we had and made fantastic suggestions for alternatives. Their communication in the run up to the event was fantastic and they gave us lots of ideas and advice to ensure not only my wife and I were kept happy, but our 70 wedding guests.
