An amazing coffee and brunch place. The staff are friendly and there is a general cosy atmosphere. The coffee is very good and everything you want in the morning. All the brunch food was delicious and reasonably priced. For the bacon sandwich the brown sauce is fruity and the bacon is of a medium crispness.
Would recommend the Lean Pantry to anyone. Food is always delicious, freshly-made and top quality. Service is friendly and any queries are answered immediately. Perfect spot for a lazy brunch, light meal or coffee and cake. Plenty of choices and heaven for vegans! The waffles are particularly amazing, as are the cakes and savoury toast options. Very local and an absolute personal favourite.
Very nice place with beautiful view to Christmas tree on towns square. We tried eggs on toast, raspberry white chocolate and turmeric latte. All very good and balanced taste. Highly recommend
Incredible food with a massive selection of tasty savoury food and beautiful cakes with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, amazing coffees that can be made vegan too with a selection of non dairy milks. A really lovely setting to come in and relax with a drink and a cake! I visit regularly as the food is so good and the choices for me and my wife who are vegan and vegetarian are amazing.
Free parking just around the corner is ideal too!

As a Muslim it was hard for me to find a halal place in Stamford as my car was being serviced. Strolling through the village me and my wife came across The Lean Pantry Co. I was so glad to know i won't be eating a sandwich meal deal from M&S and rather having a proper lunch which is all Vegan. The variety is really good and not limited as this place specialise in serving Vegan food.
I had a sweet potato jacket with tuna and salad, it was AMAZING. I would strongly recommend anyone who is a vegan or prefers halal food.. try The Lean Pantry Co.
I also had a Cherry Bakewell sponge cake, Mrs had Vegan ice cream with a Vegan Chocolate Fudge Brownie.... If i had 10 thumbs, they would all be up.. PERFECT!
The food was great, perfect amount and delicious. The drinks were lovely too, no complaints.
The wait for our food was roughly 10 minutes, maybe less, but this may differ from what you order.
The two ladies in charge were professional, kind and did their job very well.

Great selection for vegans with excellent quality and a good atmosphere.
Such a great little place! Honestly the go-to for myself, family and friends to sit and have a coffee or get a meal. Coffee always tastes great with lots of dairy-free milks to choose from. Amazing selection for vegans (and non-vegan options available too), really affordable and so lovely to either sit inside or outside when it’s warmer. Staff are always really helpful and accommodating, and it’s always super clean and organised inside. You can also buy some vegan goodies for your cupboards while you’re there. Highly recommend (also try the vegan ‘sausage’ rolls if you can - they’re great!).
Lovely cosy cafe with a great vegan and gluten-free menu, although they do cater for meat eaters. However, we felt with the smashed avocado on toast meals, they could have afforded two slices of toast instead of just the one.
Fantastic fruit tea and speciality drinks, food is mostly vegan or veg only, so don't expect normal cakes etc... Would have liked some regular cakes in the mix. Would have given better choice. It doesn't advertise that it is vegan/veg only so would have expected more choice.
